CHAPTER 4 POWER UNIT Reinstallation of flywheel Fit the key to the crankshaft Degrease the tapered parts of the flywheel and crankshaft with thinner or the like Install the flywheel Fasten the flywheel with the M12 nut together with the washer Tightening torque 50 60 N m 5 6 kg m 36 43 Ib ft Reinstallation of CD unit ignition coil Note Parenthesized number in the following is a reference number of a component appearing in the exploded view of the electrical system component parts on page 53 Fit the CD unit 1 onto the CD unit bracket 2 with M 6 bolts with screw lock agent and plain washer 3 Tightening torque 5 9 N m 0 6 kg m 4 3 Ib ft Assemble the washer 4 mount rubber 5 collar 6 mount rubber 7 and washer 4 for each screw hole of the CD unit bracket 2 in this order referring to the figure Fasten the CD unit bracket 2 assembled as above to the exhaust cover with M 6 bolts 3 Tightening torque 5 9 N m 0 6 kg m 4 3 Ib ft Screw the plug cap 9 onto the high tension cord of the ignition coil 8 and seal the gap between them with Three Bond 1530C Note Carefully apply the sealing agent not to seep into the inner terminal Fit the ignition coil 8 to the exhaust cover with M6 bolts two At that time tighten one of the two bolts together with the earth wire Tightening torque 5 9 N m 0 6 kg m 4 3 Ib ft Reinstallation of starter motor rectifier complete electric bracket E type only Fit the starter motor 11 to the starter motor bracket 12 with M8 bolts two Tightening torque 11 8 N m 1 2 kg m 8 7 Ib ft 55
