CHAPTERS LOWER UNIT Assembly of water pump case Pump case liner Pump case protrusion 1 Assemble the following parts Oil seal 12 24 8 Apply Low Temperature Lithium Grease Driveshaft Bevel gear B Cam rod Lower pump case Pump impeller key Pump impeller Pump case liner toward up Pump case Pump case bolt H650 4 Cam rod bushing stopper Cam rod bushing stopper bolt H625 1 Notes When installing the lower pump case to the driveshaft take care not to damage the oil seal Install the pump case liner so that its projecting part fits into the pump case When inserting the pump case liner into the pump impeller press the pump case while turning the driveshaft clockwise as viewed from the engine side Pay heed to the orientation of the blade of the pump impeller so that the blade doesn t face the opposite side 64
