NOTE
Most users will not need to change these settings of PJ-673 Utility; generally they are relevant
only when printing simple text data from a computer that does not have this printer’s driver
installed.
The parameters which are common to all operating systems include Auto Power On,
Auto Power Off and Pre-feed.
Changing Parameter Settings 3
1Printer
Displays a list of the compatible printers that
are connected to the computer. When using
the PJ-673 Utility to change printer settings,
the settings of the printer selected in this list will
be changed.
NOTE
Only printers for the USB ports appear in the
Printer list. Printers for network ports will not be
listed.
2 Update List
Refreshes the printer list. If a printer is
connected to the computer or is turned on
while the PJ-673 Utility is running, click this
button to refresh the list and select the desired
printer.
The added priter appears beside [Printer] and
can be selected.
3 Import
Loads a configuration file created with the
PJ-673 Utility that was saved previously using
the export feature.
NOTE
If the Import command is used to load a
configuration file saved using the Export
command, the settings selected when the
file was saved will appear in the window.
4Export
Saves the current settings as a
configuration file.
NOTE
Wireless LAN settings specified with [WLAN
Settings], such as [SSID(Network Name)]
and [WEP Key], will not be saved in the
configuration file.
