dispose of batteries in special collection points for their
further recycling;
–
avoid the power nippers circuit;
–
if you are not using the scale for a long time, remove the
batteries from the battery compartment.
WEIGHT MEASUREMENT
1.
Place the scale on a firm flat surface. To weight liquid or
granular products, place a suitable container on the plat-
form (1).
2.
Press the « /ZERO» button (5) to switch on the scale, the
display (4) will show the « » symbols, then the values
will reset and the « » zero weight symbol (7) will appear.
Note:
–
you can start weighing when the « » zero weight symbol
(7) is being shown on the display (4).
–
if the readings on the display (4) are different from zero,
press the « /ZERO» button (5) to reset them to zero.
3.
Tap the «UNIT» button (3) to select the necessary measure-
ment units; the display (4) will cycle through the following
sequence of symbols:
« », « » – ingredient(s) weight in grams;
« », « » –water volume in milliliters;
« », « » – milk volume in milliliters;
« », « » – ingredient(s) weight in pounds;
« », « » – water volume in fluid ounces;
« », « » – milk volume in fluid ounces.
4.
Put the ingredient(s) on the weighing platform (1). The
display (3) will show the weight of the ingredient(s) in the
selected measurement units.
5.
To switch off the scale, remove the ingredients from the
platform (1), then press and hold the « /ZERO» button
(5) for at least 3 seconds.
Note:
–
«Err» symbols on the display (4) indicate that the maxi-
mum weight limit of 10 kg has been exceeded. Immediately
remove the excess weight from the scale platform to pre-
vent damage to the scale.
–
If the scale is malfunctioning, try switching the power off. To
do that, open the battery compartment lid (2) and remove
1 battery. Reinstall the battery after a while and switch the
scale on by pressing the « /ZERO» button (5).
–
The scale will automatically switch off if it’s left idle for more
than 2 minutes.
SEQUENTIAL WEIGHING
Auto zero function
The auto zero function is to be used for the sequential weighing
of ingredients, whose total weigh does not exceed 400 g.
This function will enable you to sequentially measure the
weight of multiple ingredients without removing the previous
ones from the platform (1).
Follow these steps:
1.
Place the scale on a firm flat surface. To weight liquid or
granular products, place a suitable container on the plat-
form (1).
2.
Press the « /ZERO» button (5) to switch on the scale, the
display (4) will show the « » symbols, then the values
will reset and the « » zero weight symbol (7) will appear.
3.
Tap the «UNIT» button (3) to select the necessary mea-
surement units.
4.
Place the required quantity of the first ingredient on the
platform (1), checking against the numerical readings on
the display (4).
5.
Press the « /ZERO» button (5) before weighing the next
ingredient to reset the readings on the display (4).
Repeat steps 4-5 for weighting next ingredients.
Tare function
Is to be used for the sequential weighing of products, whose
total weight exceeds 400 g.
You can measure the weight of multiple ingredients without
removing the previous ones from the platform (1), as well as
monitor their total weight.
Follow these steps:
1.
Place the scale on a firm flat surface. To weight liquid or
granular products, place a suitable container on the plat-
form (1).
2.
Press the « /ZERO» button (5) to switch on the scale, the
display (4) will show the « » symbols, then the values
will reset and the « » zero weight symbol (7) will appear.
3.
Tap the «UNIT» button (3) to select the necessary mea-
surement units.
4.
Place the required quantity of the first ingredient on the
platform (1), checking against the numerical readings on
the display (4).
Note: The « » tare symbol (8) will appear on the display (4) if
the weight of the first ingredient(s) exceeds 400 g.
5.
Press the « /ZERO» button (5), the weight readings on
the display (4) will reset and the « » tare symbol (8) will
appear.
6.
Place the required quantity of the next ingredient on the
platform (1), checking against the numerical readings on
the display (4).
7.
Press the « /ZERO» button (5), the display (4) will show
the total weight of the first and second ingredients.
8.
Repeat steps 5-7 for sequential weighing of the remaining
ingredients and monitoring of their total weight.
