GETTING STARTED
PREPARATIONS FOR GLUING
The surfaces to be glued must be clean, dry
and free of grease. Roughen smooth surfaces
before gluing. DO NOT USE INFLAMMABLE
SOLVENTS FOR CLEANING! The ambient
temperature and the work piece to be glued
must not be colder than +5 °C or warmer than
+50 °C. Warm rapidly cooling materials (e.g.,
steel) for better adhesion.
GLUING
DANGER OF BURNING! The glue and the
nozzle tip (1) become very hot. Do not allow the
nozzle tip or hot glue to come into contact with
persons or animals. If hot glue touches the skin,
immediately hold the spot for some minutes under
a stream of cold water. Do not try to remove the
glue from the skin.
Models 910, 920 and 930:
Allow glue gun to reach operating
temperature before using (±5mins).
Insert the glue stick (2). Press the feed
trigger (3).
Model 940:
Once the cord is detached, the glue gun
remains operable for 5mins, before it
needs to heat up.
NOTE: For your rst use, you may need to load
up to two full glue sticks before glue begins
to ow.
Squeeze trigger (3) to apply glue onto
desired surface.
Apply parts together.
Allow glue to cool before handling object or
surface.
TIP: Dremel also supplies glitter and colour
sticks for decorative purposes. These sticks
have been specially developed for creative
projects and low temperature (105 °C).
The colour sticks can also be used for sealing
decorations. To be able to quickly change
colours, it is recommended to cut the sticks into
3 cm pieces before inserting into the Glue Gun.

DRIP-CONTROL FUNCTION
When heated up, the glue gun has a
drip-control function. This prevents the glue
from dripping when the glue gun is at operating
temperature.
NOTES: During heating-up the glue gun may
release a few drops of glue.
Do not use glitter or colour sticks at high
temperature. The drip-control function will not
work properly.
Model 940: EXCHANGE NOZZLE
Use a spanner and turn the nozzle from
the housing.
Mount a new nozzle on the housing.
