Specic safety rules for glue gun operation
When working with glue gun always use appropriate 1.
anti-splinter glasses, anti-splinter goggles or face
shield. Wear shirt with long sleeves, long trousers
and protective gloves.
Never modify the tool in any way. 2.
Do not touch hot nozzle of the glue gun or melted 3.
glue. Nozzle and glue temperature during operation
reaches approximately 210
0
C and there is risk of
serious burns.
Do not allow children or strangers to have access 4.
to the glue gun.
Do not leave the glue gun unattended, when it is 5.
connected to mains network or hot.
Keep the workplace clean. It must be tidy and well 6.
illuminated. Untidiness in workplace introduces
risk of body injury. There must be no ammable
materials close to the tool when it is used.
Do not use the glue gun in wet or damp 7.
environment. Glue gun is designed for indoor use
in dry places only.
Do not expose power cord of the glue gun to 8.
danger. Do not pull the cord when removing plug
from mains socket, do not carry the glue gun
hanging on its cord.
Do not put the glue gun on its side when it is hot. 9.
When putting the glue gun away, always put it on
the wire-support (included). It ensures that hot gun
nozzle or other hot parts have no contact with any
surface in workshop or a table.
When the work is nished, disconnect the glue gun 10.
from power supply and allow it to cool down before
storing. After glue gun is cooled, store it in dry place
away from sunlight.
Do not overheat the glue gun, protect against oil 11.
and sharp edges etc.
Always use common sense. Do not operate the 12.
glue gun when you are tired or under inuence of
alcohol or medicines.
Glue gun is designed for use with glue sticks with 13.

Do not use melted glue on surfaces coated with oil 14.
paint or wood stain unless you can clean the spot
you plan to glue.
Do not use glues other than designed for use with 15.
glue guns.
Do not substitute structural joining elements with 16.
glue applied with the glue gun!
To avoid hazards, if power cord is damaged it should 17.

USE
Joined surfaces should be as at and smooth as 1.
possible. Before starting to glue clean surfaces with
solvent. Surfaces must be dry with no trace of oil.
Insert glue stick into the gun and wait 5 to 7 minutes 2.

RANGE OF USE OF GLUE GUN
Glue gun can be used for hobby, artistic tasks,
woodworking and various domestic repairs.
It can glue thin pieces of wood, veneer, textiles, laces,
foil, paper and cardboard, plastics, thin skin, dried or
articial owers. You can use the glue gun for modelling,
for toy repairs, joining packages, for shoes repairs etc.
DO NOT use glue gun to glue materials that can be
subject to temperatures exceeding 70
0
C.
DO NOT use glue gun to glue elements used for lifting
heavy loads.
GLUE STICKS
With this glue gun use glue sticks with 11 mm in
diameter.
Glue from heated glue sticks joins immediately most
of materials used by craftsmen, including porous
materials.
In comparison to use of liquid glues, this way of joining
provides strong joins and allows to accomplish works in
less time.
