SPECIAL SAFETY RULES

 Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces,

when performing an operation where the cutting

accessory may contact hidden wiring. Cutting

accessory contacting a “live” wire may make exposed

metal parts of the power tool “live” and could give the

operator an electric shock.

 Protect your lungs. Wear a face or dust mask if the

operation is dusty.

 Always wear safety goggles and a dust mask when

sanding, especially sanding overhead.

 A suitable breathing respirator must be worn while

sanding lead paint, some woods and metal to avoid

breathing the harmful/toxic dust or air.

 When not in use, all tools should be disconnected from

power source.

INTENDED USE

You may use this product for cutting and sanding purposes.

MAINTENANCE

 When servicing, use only identical Ryobi replacement

parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or

cause product damage.

 Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most

plastics are susceptible to damage from various types

of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their

use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease,

etc.

 Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side

shields during power product operation or when blowing

dust. If operation is dusty, also wear a dust mask.

 To avoid serious personal injury, always remove

the battery pack from the product when cleaning or

performing any maintenance.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Recycle raw materials instead of disposing

of as waste. The machine, accessories

and packaging should be sorted for

environmental-friendly recycling.

NOTE: If only the red LED indicator is illuminated, it

means the battery power is low. The battery needs to be

recharged.

BATTERY OVERLOAD PROTECTION

This tool is designed to protect the battery from overloading.

When overloading is detected, the tool will automatically

switch off. To resume operation, switch the tool off and

on again. If the tool fails to operate, it means battery pack

is discharged and should be recharged in a compatible

charger.
