shunt release

The shunt release to VA-99M is designed for remote tripping the

molded case circuit breaker. It is designed as an electromagnet,

which acts on the control mechanism, trips the molded case

circuit breaker while energized from external power supply. After

the circuit breaker has been tripped remotely, it can be switched

on manually or remotely with the electric mechanism.

The device is designed to connect aluminium and coppers conduc-

tors. Don’t connect the copper and aluminium contractors to the

same terminal at the same time.

The device shall be mounted with the terminals. After the fastening

screws have been unscrewed from the upper cover of the circuit

breaker, the shunt release shall be put into the socket of the enclo-

sure of the circuit breaker. The conductors shall be carefully put

into side grooves of the enclosure. Before that, the dummy pads

shall be pulled out. The molded case circuit breaker shall be as-

sembled in reverse order.
