PREPARATION BEFORE OPERATION

Fix the handles on the gear case frame with the help of screw (comes with

the ground drill). The handles can be installed in two positions: horizontally

or at a 45 ° angle. Check the attachement of the throttle cable to the carbuer-

ator. Attach cable to carburetor if not attached. Adjust the throttle using the

adjusting nuts and screws. Check the tightness of all screws and nuts of the

engine, gearbox and motor drill frame.

CONNECTION OF THE AUGER TO THE REDUCTION GEAR

Combine drive shaft and shank end. Insert the shaft into the shank end. Fix

the connection with the help of pin. Use the adapter if you want to set the

auger bit with another type or diameter of the attachement.

AUGER CHECKUP

1. Check availability of all parts. This goes especially for the spark plug.

2. Check the air intake and outlet for clogging.

3. The auger uses an air-cooled engine. If the air passage is blocked, the

engine may overheat.

4. Check the air lter for dirt. A dirty air cleaner will cause the auger to burn

excess fuel.

FUEL

Ground drill is equipped with 2 stroke engine. Always ll the engine with

mixture of oil-fuel. Be sure in good ventilation when lling fuel. Use only

unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 92 and a ratio of

2-stroke oil, as shown on the sticker by the manufacturer. Or in a ratio

of 25: 1 if the oil manufacturer has not specied a dierent proportion.
