l If the battery is discharged, do not use the device and replace the
battery with a good one.
l Do not use the tester to control voltages that exceed the allowable
value indicated on the device and in the passport.
l If the device is not used for a long time, remove the batteries and
observe the storage conditions specified in this passport.

Safety precaution
l Be careful when working with voltages greater than 30 V AC.
l To avoid electric shock, the following rules must be observed:
l Before use, check the device for mechanical damage. If in doubt,
replace the tester.
l Use personal protective equipment when working on electrical
installations, especially in the case of high voltages.
l Use the device only for its intended purpose.
l Use the batteries specified in this passport.
l If possible, do not take measurements alone.
Instructions for tester operation
To on/off the tester, press the button ( ). When switched on, the
device tests all indicators for operability, after which the button glows green,
which means the device is ready for use.
Before starting work, check the operation of the tester on a known
source of alternating voltage within the operating range.
Place the sensor (1) close to the AC voltage source (approximately
<1 cm). If the tester detects voltage in the operating range of values, then
the indicator of the corresponding intensity (low, medium, high) will light
up and a signal will sound.
To turn on the indication in the range of 12~1000 V AC, press the

When AC voltage is detected, the green intensity indicator (low) flashes.
If a higher AC voltage is detected, the green intensity indicator
(middle) will light up.

Battery replacement
1. Unscrew the battery cover at the back of
the detector.
2. Replace two batteries, observing the
polarity of the installation.
3. Screw on the battery cover. Do not apply
excessive force.
4. Verify the voltage detector is working on
a known AC voltage source within
the operating range.
