INSTALLATION

• Eyebolts/nuts should only be fitted by a trained person.

• The depth of the threaded hole has to be minimum: 1*d for steel, 1,25*d for cast iron, 2*d for aluminium

alloys, 2,5*d for aluminium magnesium alloys.

• The threaded hole must be perpendicular to the surface.

• Make sure that the surface of the mother screw is suitable for the planarity and dimension in order to

guarantee the touching of all the surface of the eyebolt/nut and that it adheres suitably. The eyebolt/nut

cannot be used with parts of a tilting surface.

• To install the eyebolt/nut simply manually lock the screws/nuts with a suitable tool without the aid of

extension leads which could preload the screw with excessive locking. To disassemble, unscrew.

• Lock the eyebolt/nut until it fits completely onto the surface.

NOT ALLOWED

• Do not apply lateral load (as shown in the pictures).

• Do not apply load in parallel to the plane of the eye. No side loading allowed.

• Do not use eyebolts/nuts in acid high corrosion chemical substance environment and/or in an explosive

atmosphere.

• Do not use in environment with a temperature higher than 200 °C or lower than -20 °C for temperatures

outside of this range, contact Haklift Oy for guidance.

• Do not exceed the WLL marked on the product.

• Do not use for operations which defer from the ones that are foreseen.

• Do not use locking screws which are larger than the ones specified to assemble the lifting eye.

• Do not use to lift people.

• Do not stand under an overhanging load whilst it is being used.

• Do not stand in dangerous areas during use (dangerous areas mean areas which are deemed risky

due to falling of load during movement with accessories).

• If changes, repairs and/or treatments are made to the product, the terms of the guarantee are no

longer applicable and the manufacturer declines all liability. Under NO circumstances should bent

eyebolts be straightened.

STORAGE

• Product shall be stored cleaned, dried and protected from corrosion.
