The blades automatically disengage

when the grass catcher is full. There is also

the possibility to choose the “buzzer” option

to signals that the catcher is full, without

stopping the blades.

Emptying the FD 220R grass catcher is easy!

Simply reverse to your designated area,

then lift the lever next to the driver’s seat

whilst remaining seated; the grass catcher

will lift and open automatically, completely

emptying itself.

The opening and closing of the grass

catcher is automatic via a magnetic catch:

simple, efcient, wear-free and with no need

of special adjustments!

The oating cutting deck ensures a perfect cut on uneven grounds too. The rear pivoting axle, the tires with anti-skid prole, together

with the ground pressure adjustment of the cutting deck (Grillo exclusive), allow to follow the ground with extreme precision. The

cutting deck ground pressure adjustment is made via a simple hand wheel positioned under the driver’s seat; this device modies the

weight balance between the cutting deck and drive axle of the FD 220R for greater adherence on slopes or in difcult situations, in order

not to damage new or wet lawns.

Once you have nished using the

machine, cleaning the cutting deck will

always be quick and simple for everyone!

The cutting deck is equipped with a quick

coupling so that, by connecting a water

hose, the whole cutting deck can be

cleaned with minimal effort.

Details of the

adjustment

Totally removing the cutting deck is also

easy! With a few simple operations

it is possible to put it on one side and

make it accessible for any service

operation such as the replacement of

the blade edges or extra cleaning.
