• After switching o allow the cutting blade to stop completely, only
then you can put the wall chaser away.
• The chase is fully emptied and does not require chiselling.
After switching the wall chaser o, do not brake the rotating blade by
pressing it against processed material.
Do not apply excessive pressure on the wall chaser, do not push it
forward forcefully. Pressure while plunging and moving should be
moderate. Applying excessive pressure may cause motor overheating
and damage of the cutting blade.
Cutting blades heat up to high temperatures during operation – do
not touch them with unprotected parts of your body before they cool
down.
When cutting very hard materials, cutting blade may be overheated
and damaged in consequence. Shower of sparks around the cutting
blade indicates overheating. When it appears, immediately stop
cutting and cool down the blade by running it with full rotational
speed with no load for 3–5 minutes.
Noticeable decrease of cutting eciency and shower of sparks
around the cutting blade may indicate blunt cutting blade.
Use only working tools whose allowable rotary speed is higher or
equal to maximum wall chaser speed with no load.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the power cord from mains socket before commencing any
activities related to installation, adjustment, repair or maintenance.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
• Cleaning the device after each use is recommended.
• Do not use water or any other liquid for cleaning.
• Clean the tool with a dry cloth or blow with compressed air at low
pressure.
• Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents, they may damage plastic
parts.
• Clean ventilation holes in the motor casing regularly to prevent
device overheating.
• In case of power cord damage replace it with a cord with the same
specication. Entrust the repair to a qualied specialist or return the
tool to a service point.
• In case of excessive commutator sparking, have the technical
condition of carbon brushes of the motor checked by a qualied
person.
• Always store the tool in a dry place, beyond reach of children.
REPLACEMENT OF CARBON BRUSHES
Immediately replace worn out (shorter than 5 mm), burnt or cracked
motor carbon brushes. Always replace both carbon brushes at a time.
• Unscrew and remove carbon brush covers (8).
• Pull the pressure spring away, snap out and remove worn out carbon
brushes.
• Remove any carbon dust with compressed air.
• Install new carbon brushes (they should easily slide into the brush
holders) and reinstall the pressure spring.
• Fix carbon brush covers (8).
After replacement of carbon brushes, start the power tool with no
load and wait 1–2 minutes until the carbon brushes t to the motor
commutator. Entrust replacement of carbon brushes only to a
qualied person. Only original parts should be used.
All defects should be repaired by service workshop authorized by the
manufacturer.

and measurement uncertainty K have
been given in the instruction manual as dened in the EN 60745-1
standard.
The following vibration value (acceleration value) a

and measurement
uncertainty K have been determined as dened in the EN 60745-2-22
standard.
The vibration level provided in this instruction manual have been
determined according to the measurement procedure as dened in the
EN 60745-1 standard and can be used for comparison of power tools.
This can be used for preliminary assessment of exposure to vibrations.
The provided vibration level is representative for main applications of
the power tool. If the power tool is used for other applications or with
other working tools, and if it is not suciently maintained, the vibration
level may vary. The aforementioned reasons may increase the exposure
to vibrations during the entire operating period.
In order to precisely estimate the exposure to vibrations, periods should
be accounted for, in which the power tool is switched o, or when it
is switched on, but not operated. Thus, the total exposure to vibration
may prove considerably lower.
Additional safety measures should be taken to protect the user against
eects of vibrations, such as: maintenance of the power tool and its
working tools, ensuring proper temperature of the hands and proper
organisation of work.
