8. Storage

Securely fasten and tie down the steps when transporting them (e.g. on roof racks or in cars) to avoid

any damage. The steps should be stored in a dry environment either standing upright, ﬂat on the

ground or hung on a wall with a suitable wall holder. They must be stored in such a way as to prevent

them from becoming damaged and all of their components must be protected from the weather. The

steps must be stored in such a way as to be protected from children and such that they do not repre

sent a hazard (e.g. tripping hazard). They must furthermore be stored in such a way that they cannot

be used / removed for unlawful purposes.

9. Packaging / Disposal

The packaging must be disposed of in correspondence with the relevant regulations and laws.

When having reached the end of their service life, the steps must be disposed of in compliance with

the relevant regulations. Aluminium is a high-quality material and should be recycled. Please refer to

your local authority for more information on recycling.

10. Service life

These steps are a high-quality product and designed to have a long service life if used as intended

and regularly serviced.

4. Feet, stabilizer

Check the feet and stabiliser brace for proper function, tightness,

damage and corrosion. None of the feet / end caps must be

missing. Are the feet loose, worn or corroded?

5. Spreader brace

Check the condition of straps, chains, joints and reinforcements.

Are all of the attachment points in a good condition? Is there any

damage, cracks or corrosion?

6. Labels/

User manual

Are all of the labels axed to the steps and is the user manual

available and easily legible?

RESULT

The steps are in good working order and ﬁt for use.

The steps must only be used after having been repaired.

The steps are damaged and must be disposed of.

Estas instrucciones de uso y manejo describen el empleo seguro de tarimas Por razones de

1. Uso conforme al empleo previsto

Esta tarima es un medio de trabajo móvil que puede ser empleado en diferentes localizaciones. Con

esta tarima se pueden realizar trabajos de menor alcance en alturas, en las que el empleo de otros

medios de trabajo no sea proporcional (véase las disposiciones sobre seguridad de medios de servi

cio). Esta tarima solo puede ser empleada como se describe en estas instrucciones de uso y manejo.

Cualquier otro empleo vale como no conforme al empleo previsto. No se asume ninguna responsa

bilidad por daños generados por uso no conforme al empleo previsto. Este tipo de tarimas deben ser

empleadas preferentemente en áreas interiores. Modiﬁcaciones en la tarima que no hayan sido autor

izadas por el fabricante conduce a la rescisión de la garantía y sus prestaciones.
