WARNING
Servicing requires extreme care and
knowledge and should be performed only by
a qualifi ed service technician. For servicing
and repairs, have the product serviced by
an authorised service centre only. When
servicing, use only original replacement
parts.
■ You may make adjustments and repairs
described in this manual. For other repairs,
have the product serviced by an authorised
service centre only.
■ After each use, clean the product with a
soft dry cloth.
■ Check all nuts, bolts and screws at frequent
intervals for proper tightness to ensure the
product is in safe working condition. Any
part that is damaged should be properly
repaired or replaced by an authorised
service centre.
■ Bring the product to an authorised service
centre to replace damaged or unreadable
labels.
■ Run the product a few times after throwing
snow to prevent freeze-up of the impeller.
■ When cleaning, repairing, or inspecting
the product, make sure all moving parts
have come to a complete stop. Remove
the battery pack to prevent someone from
accidentally starting the product.
CLEARING A BLOCKAGE
WARNING
Never put your hands or feet into the front of
the product or the discharge chute to avoid
serious injuries.
■ Release the trigger, and remove the battery
pack.
■ Make sure all moving parts have come to a
complete stop.
■ Use a wooden pole to remove the blockage.
■ Turn the impeller assembly using the
wooden pole.
■ Beware, the impeller may move by itself
during blockage removal due to stored
energy in the mechanism.
■ Once the impeller can be turned by the
wooden pole, move to the rear of the
product.
● It is normal for the impeller mechanism
to have stepped-movement.
■ Make sure that it is safe to continue snow
clearing.
■ Install the battery pack. Turn on the product.
RESIDUAL RISKS
Even when the product is used as prescribed,
it is still impossible to completely eliminate
certain residual risk factors. The following
hazards may arise during use, and the
operator should pay special attention to avoid
the following:
■ Exposure to noise can cause hearing injury
– Wear hearing protection and limit
exposure.
■ Injury caused by thrown objects
– Objects thrown by the rotating impeller
at the front product or from the snow
chute can cause injury. Wear adequate
eye protection at all times.
