SPECIFIC SAFETY REGULATIONS

This equipment may be used by children at least 8 years old and

by persons with reduced physical and mental abilities and

persons who are not familiar with the equipment, if supervision

or instruction regarding the use of the equipment in a safe

manner is provided, so that the related risks are

understandable. Children should not play with the

equipment. Unattended children should not clean or maintain

the equipment.

Careless use of the heat gun can cause a fire, therefore:

• be careful when using the heat gun in places where there are

flammable materials,

• do not direct the stream of hot air to the same place for a long

time,

• do not use the heat gun in the presence of an explosive

atmosphere,

• be aware that heat can be transferred to combustible materials

outside the field of view,

• after using the heat gun, allow it to cool before storage,

• do not leave the heat gun turned on unattended.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY RULES

• Wear safety goggles when using the heat gun.

• Do not cover the air inlet holes or the heat gun outlet nozzle.

• Do not touch the heat gun's nozzle during use or immediately

after you stop working with the heat gun.

• The heat gun handle must be kept clean, and no oil or grease

marks should be left on it.

• When working outside the building, do not use the heat gun

when it is raining or when the air humidity is high.

• Do not put the heat gun aside when it is turned on.

• Never direct the airflow from the heat gun to one location for too

long.

• From time to time, remove accumulated paint residue from the

heat gun's nozzle to prevent it from igniting.

• Before starting work with the heat gun always make sure that the

surface to be heated is not flammable.

• When removing oil paints containing lead, work may only be

carried out in well-ventilated rooms. The vapors of such paints

have poisonous properties. Use a respiratory mask.

• When using the heat gun, do not use as auxiliaries, turpentine,

solvents or gasoline.

• Do not touch hot parts of the heat gun immediately after

use. Burns caused by failure to follow these instructions are a major

hazard in operating a heat gun.

• Do not point the working heat gun at any person or animal (e.g.

to dry hair). The heat gun gives the air a much higher temperature

than a hair dryer.

WARNING! Despite the use of a safe construction by design, the

use of protective measures and additional protective measures,
