The reduction nozzle is mainly intended for soldering and other

works requiring point heating with a stream of dry, hot air ( Fig. I ).

PAINT REMOVAL

• Turn on the heat gun and direct the hot air stream towards the

surface covered with paint. After a short time, the paint will begin

to form blisters. Do not allow the paint to burn, as this will make it

difficult to remove.

• When removing paint with a scraper or spatula, this should be

done by moving it from top to bottom, gradually. If the spatula hits

a place where the paint cannot be removed, then carefully

approach the heat gun to facilitate further paint

removal. Occasionally clean the spatula blade ( fig. J ).

• The paint should be removed before it hardens, otherwise it will

stick to the spatula blade.

• After finishing work, remove paint residue from the spatula with

a wire brush before it solidifies.

WARNING! Shortly after work the heat gun's nozzle is

hot. Avoid direct contact and wear suitable gloves or wait for it

to cool down. Do not use plastic spatulas to remove heated

paint using a heat gun.

• The device should be stored with the battery removed.

• All defects should be removed by the manufacturer's authorized

service department.
