Apple CarPlay can be used by connecting an unregistered smartphone

to the multimedia system. The procedure is dif

ferent for registered smart-

phones.

Using Apple CarPlay with a USB connection

Apple CarPlay can be used by connecting a smartphone to the multimedia

system using a data USB cable.

1 Enable Siri from your smartphone's settings menu.

2 Connect the smartphone to the USB port.

The Apple CarPlay home screen is displayed.

● It may take around three to six seconds to return to the original screen,

depending on the smartphone being connected.

● If guidance is displayed on the smartphone screen, follow those operation

instructions.
