Luggage security system

To protect luggage stored in the trunk against theft, do the following

procedures.

Push down the security lock

levers to lock the rear seatbacks.

Turn the master key (vehicles

without a smart entry & start sys-

tem) or mechanical key (vehicles

with a smart entry & start sys-

tem) counterclockwise to lock

the trunk opener feature.

Vehicles without a smart entry &

start system:

The trunk lid can only be opened

with the wireless remote control

(if equipped) or the master key.

Vehicles with a smart entry & start

system:

The trunk lid can only be opened

with the mechanical key.

STEP

 Which key to the vehicle is to leave with a parking attendant after the

luggage security system is set.
