Basic function
If a necessary update is available, a
message will be displayed.
1 Select “Now”.
To check the update details,
select “See detail”.
To download an update, select
“Download” on the “Detailed
update info” screen.
To download after checking the
update details, select “Later”.
To download an update later,
select “Later”.
When ready to download the
update, select “Update” on the
SmartDeviceLink™ Apps screen.

2 Check that the download screen
is displayed.
To display another screen while
an update is being downloaded,
select “Download in back-
ground”.
After the update download is
complete, a message will be dis-
played and the update can be
installed.
To cancel the update download,
select “Cancel”.
3 Select “Install”.
To check the update details,
select “See detail”.
To install an update, select
“Install” on the “Detailed update
info” screen.
To install an update later, select
“Later”.
When ready to install the update,
select “Install” on the SmartDe-
viceLink™ Apps screen. (P.5 2)
4 Select “Continue”.
To install an update later, select
“Later”.
5 Check that the installation
screen is displayed.
To display another screen while
an update is being installed,
select “Install in background”.
6 Select “OK”.

Depending on the update, it may be
necessary to perform downloading
and installation multiple times.

If the download fails, check the
smartphone and its connection to the
system, and attempt to download the
update again.
