3. INSTALLATION AND OPERATION

ATTENTION!

THE MANUFACTURER GUARANTEES THE SERVICEABILITY OF THE MAT ONLY IN

CASE IF THE REQUIREMENTS STATED BELOW ARE FULFILLED.

Violation of heating cable, coupling joint, and cable end

connection's integrity is prohibited.

The mat must not be subjected to mechanical stress.

Rolled mat cannot be connected to the mains.

The mat must be connected to the power supply network and grounded

in compliance with the effective PUE and SNiP regulations.

The heating mat is connected to AC mains via a thermostatic regulator

(not included in the supplied kit). Only qualified electricians are allowed

to connect the heating mat and

thethermostatic regulator.

The mat must be fully covered with adhesive mixture or solution.

Prior to covering the mat with the solution and after the solution is fully dry,

it is necessary to check its effective resistance. The measured value must

match the value specified in Table 1.

It is prohibited to turn the mat on after covering it with the solution

until it is completely dry.

Connection of the mat to the electric network not compliant with its rated

voltage (see paragraph 2 of this passport) is prohibited.

WARNING!

THE HEATING MAT MUST BE CONNECTED THROUGH SWITCHBOARD EQUIPMENT

(RESIDUAL CURRENT CIRCUIT BREAKER) WITH RATED ACTUATING CURRENT NOT

EXCEDDING 30 mA.
