Media Type for Print Output

Specify the paper type to be used for print output of the received fax.

By specifying the media type, faxes can be received on the corresponding cassette.

Display the screen.

[Home] key > [...] > [System Menu] > [Device Settings] > [Paper Feeding] >

[Cassette1-5

Settings] or [MP Tray Settings]

Select the cassette that you want to use for fax reception.

*1 The cassette tray displayed varies depending on the installation status of the optional

paper feeder.

1 Inch models: [Paper Size] > [Auto (Inch)]

Metric models: [Paper Size] > [Auto (Metric)]

Selecting the paper type.

1 Select [Media Type].

2 Select the paper type.

Set the paper type.

Configure paper settings for fax reception. When selecting the paper type, select the

same paper type as you selected in step 3.

If FAX exclusive paper source is set, paper is fed from the cassette set as the FAX
