05 CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning the appliance, always unplug it and wait until it

cools down.

•

Wipe the body and the base with a slightly damp cloth or

sponge, do not use abrasive cleaners. If rust marks appear on

the base, remove them with a special stainless steel cleaner.

•

Regularly clean the ﬁlter.

•

Regularly descale the kettle using special cleaning products

according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. After

cleaning, rinse the kettle with clean water.

•

Do not wash the appliance or the base in a dishwasher.

•

Do not immerse the appliance or base in water or other liq-

uids.

Cleaning the metal ﬁlter

1. Press down on the ﬁlter so that the upper buckles of the ﬁlter can

be pulled out of the two square holes. Then remove the bottom

buckle of the ﬁlter out of the hole.

2. Rinse the ﬁlter under running water. Use a brush if necessary.

3. Install the ﬁlter in the spout. Insert the bottom buckle into the

hole, push down on the ﬁlter and insert the two upper buckles into

two square slots in the spout. Gently pull the ﬁlter upwards and

make sure it is securely in place.
