REFRIGERATOR-FREEZER
Don`t use or store flammable materials such as ether, gasoline, alcohol, liquefied
petroleum gas (propane-butane), sprays, or cosmetics near the refrigerator. This
may cause an explosion or fire. The refrigerant (R600, isobutane) contained in
the refrigerator system is a high-pressure natural gas that is most compatible with
the environment and is safe, yet flammable. Don`t use the refrigerator for storing
explosive substances, test materials, medicines, etc. This may result in fire, electric
shock, damage to stored products, or a chemical reaction.
To disconnect the refrigerator from the mains, hold the plug, not the power cord.
Removing the plug from the outlet by the cord may cause electric shock, short circuit,
or fire.
Don`t operate the appliance with a damaged power cord or outlet. Don`t use adapters,
extension cords, or "tees" to connect the appliance. Don`t damage, twist, bend, or
extend the power cord.
Use a separate outlet. Using the same outlet for multiple appliances may cause a fire.
Make sure that the plug is not damaged or deformed. A damaged plug may overheat
and cause a fire.
Don`t touch the fork with wet hands. Wipe the plug dry, clean it from dust and carefully
insert it into the socket. Dust, water, or weak contact may cause a fire or electric
shock.
The refrigerator must be grounded. Improper grounding may result in failure or
electric shock.
If the lamp in the refrigerator has burned out, it is necessary to eliminate this defect
for proper operation of the appliance.
Place the refrigerator on a firm, level floor to prevent it from falling and avoid injury or
death.
Safety measures must be observed when moving. Don`t move the appliance behind
the doors, the hinges are not designed for the weight of the refrigerator and may
break.
Don`t place heavy objects on the refrigerator. When opening or closing the door,
these items may fall and cause injury.
After disconnecting the refrigerator from the mains, turn it on again no earlier than 5
minutes later. Otherwise, the refrigerator may fail.
Don`t allow fats and oils (including vegetable oils) to get on the plastic parts of the
refrigerator to avoid damage.
Don`t touch food from the freezer or parts of the freezer with wet or wet hands, as this
may cause frostbite and skin damage.
Avoid contact with the back of the refrigerator. Frozen food should not be re-frozen
after defrosting.
Store frozen food according to the storage instructions from food manufacturers.
Don`t place carbonated beverages in the freezer, as freezing the liquid increases the
pressure in the container, which may cause an explosion and damage the refrigerator
freezer.
Ice can cause skin damage and frostbite if consumed directly from the freezer.
