• Do not insert or remove the electric plug on the appliance with wet hands.

• If the mains cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove screws. The unit does not contain any user-serviceable parts. Please leave all maintenance work to qualified personnel.

• Fill the tank with fresh, distilled or demineralized water. Do not switch on the appliance when there is no water in the tank.

• Do not shake the appliance as this might cause the water spill over into the base unit.

• If you spill any liquid into the unit, it can cause serious damage. Switch it off at the mains immediately. Withdraw the mains plug and consult your dealer.

• Never touch the water or components while the unit is in operation.

• If there is an unusual smell when it is being used as described in these manual, switch the appliance off, unplug it and have it examined by your dealer.

• Do not pour hot water into the tank, i.e. at a temperature in excess of 40°C.

• Unplug the appliance before cleaning it or removing the tank.

• Do not immerse the appliance or the mains cable or plug in water or other liquids.

• Never scrape the transducer with a hard tool. The humidifier must be cleaned regularly. To do this, refer to the cleaning instructions in this manual.

• If you spill any liquid into the unit, it can cause serious damage. Switch it off at the mains immediately. Withdraw the mains plug and consult your dealer.

• Disconnect the unit from the power supply when not in use and before cleaning.

• Ensure that the mains cable does not touch any hot surface and that it does not overhang a table edge.

• Never use this appliance in a room where aerosol products (sprays) are used or in a room or where oxygen is being administered.

• Do not put items of clothing or towels on top of the appliance. If the nozzle is obstructed, this may cause the appliance to malfunction.

• When moving the appliance, lift it by the base unit and not by the water tank.

• Do not use the humidifier if the air in the room is already sufficiently humid (relative humidity of at least 50%).

• The ideal relative humidity level for human comfort is in fact between 45% and 60%. Excess humidity shows up in the form of condensation on cold surfaces or cold walls in the room. To measure the

room’s humidity correctly, use a hygrometer available in most specialist shops and hypermarkets.

• The humidifier is designed for indoor and domestic use only.

USING THE APPLIANCE

You can set the machine by touching icons on the base or by the remote control. If remote control fails to work, make sure a battery is installed and plastic is removed to active the battery.

Place the appliance on the flat and firm surface.

• Do not operate the unit without water.

• To fill the tank, remove the water tank cover and pour water into the water tank, do not pour water from the middle hole. Wait a few minutes before starting the machine.

• Fill with distilled water and be sure to properly reinstall the water tank cover. Make sure the water tank cover has the silicon ring on it to ensure no leakage.

• Put back the water tank and nozzle at correct position before switching on the machine.

• You can put essential oil into the aroma hole as need. 2-3 drops of oil are usually adequate depending on quality of oil and desired amount of aroma.

ATTENTION:

Do not add aroma oil directly to the water tank.

• Plug in appliance, touch the

icon on the base or on remote control to switch on the machine.

• Press the

icon on the base or on remote control to set mist levels.

NOTE: the 1st touch is switching on the machine and mist output is strong. The 2nd touch is setting mist output level to medium. The 3rd touch is setting the mist output level to low. The 4th touching

is swtiching off the machine.

• Press the

icon on the base or remote control to set the night light ON/OFF.
