Input Panel
HP 1D - HP 1KD
1_ PRE IN: Preamplified inputs Right (R) and Left (L). Connect the outputs from the preamplified
section of the head unit or of an external electronic crossover. You can use either input or both as
the amplifier performs the channels MIX to drive the amplifier in mono.
2_ PRE OUT: Preamplified outputs Right (R) and Left (L). The signal available on the output can be
filtered. It outputs the PRE IN input signals. If the amplifier is driven by a stereophonic signal, the
latter will be on these outputs.
3_ SPEAKER IN: Amplified signals inputs Right (R) and Left (L). Connect the outputs from the
head unit amplified section. You can use either input or both as the amplifier performs the
channels MIX to drive the amplifier in mono.
CAUTION: Use this input only with sources equipped with bridged output (BTL).
4_ HP RVC: Input for the supplied digital Remote Volume Control connector. This system controls
the Sub volume remotely.
HP 1D
5_ HP LINK: Section of inputs/outputs for bridge connection between two amplifiers to increase
the amplifiers total power.
HP 1KD
6_ HP LINK 2: Connector for bridge connection between two amplifiers to increase the amplifiers
total power.
7_ HP RBC: Supplied Remote Bass Control connector input. This system equalizes the ultralow range.
Power Supply/Outputs/Other Functions Panel
HP 1D - HP 1KD
1_ + BATT (11÷16.5 VDC): terminal block through the fuse holder supplied for the amplifier power
supply positive pole connection. The hole accepts cables up to 2 A.W.G. For the best current
transfer, we recommend the use of cables with as big a section as possible or, at least, with the
same section as the wire connected to the negative pole.
CAUTION HP 1KD: Connect both power supply terminal blocks, inserting the fuse holder
supplied with its fuse, in the battery positive pole, to achieve the best performance and avoid
to damage the amplifier.
2_ GND: terminal block for the amplifier power supply negative pole connection. Insert the battery
negative cable or a wire connected to the vehicle chassis here. The hole accepts cables up to 2
A.W.G. For the best current transfer, we recommend the use of cables with as big a section as
possible or, at least, with the same section as the wire connected to the positive pole;
CAUTION HP 1KD: Connect both terminal blocks to ground or to the battery negative pole.
3_ REM: terminal for the Remote cable coming from the device which turns on the amplifier.
Voltage must be between 7 and 16,5 VDC.
4_ SPEAKER A: Speaker + and – power terminal; signal is MONO. The hole accepts cables up to
10 A.W.G.
5_ SPEAKER B: Speaker + and – power terminal, outputs are connected inside in parallel with A
SPEAKER to allow the connection of several speakers. The hole accepts cables up to 10 A.W.G.
