VENTILATION:
Use only in well ventilated premises!
The premises where the heater is used must have
adequate ventilation. This shall provide for the excretion
of the gasses resulting from the burning process and a
supply of fresh air.
Table1 illustrates the smallest possible dimensions of
the room to be heated and the aperture's dimensions
for the upper and lower levels in accordance with the
maximum, medium, and low power outputs.
SAFETY GUARDS:
•
The rst protection device is applied in order to
prevent the potential risk of re, that's why its parts
must never be removed. The protective device does
not oer full protection to children or persons with
ailments.
•
The second protective device will turn o the
heater if it is tipped over, if this activate, set the
heater upright, check for obvious damage and again
wait 5-10 minutes before attempting to re-light the
heater.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Lighting the heater
1. connect heater to the gas bottle fettle with 28 - 30
mbar Butane: propane regulator;
2. turn on tap gas bottle;
3. position the control knob to start (control ame),
press the control knob and hold down for 10 sec.,
then press the red button with the lighter symbol
, in order to produce a spark (in case the pilot ame
fails to ignite, press the red button again, and keep
holding down the control knob); keep pressing the
control knob for another 20 sec., so the thermostat
will have time to warm up, then turn the control
knob to the desired position:
start
- Control ame
- Low ame /low gas consumption/low
heating power
- Medium ame /medium gas consumption/
medium heating power
- High Flame /high gas consumption/
maximum power
Ignition
Extinguishing the heater:
Stop the gas from the canister's outlet valve. The heater
shall be "fully switched o" only if the canister's outlet
valve is fully closed.
Important! When the control button is set to one of its
end positions, it must return to its initial raised level. If
this is not the case, close the valve and contact a service
center.
MAINTENANCE:
Check the exible pipe's elasticity on a regular basis.
In case the exible pipe becomes damaged or worn, it
must be replaced with a new pipe - 450 mm length, in
compliance with the local national standards. For your
personal safety, change the exible pipe once every ve
years.
Clean the appliance's surface with a soft damp cloth.
The dust and residues on the inside of the appliance
may be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner while the heater
is switched o. Protect the signs from damage.
When the heater is not in use for a long period you must
remove the gas bottle and it should be covered and
stored in a dust-free place.
Major servicing should be carried out every 1 - 2 years.
