8. Hintergrundbeleuchtungsschalter
Um die Tastenbeleuchtung ein- oder auszuschalten, halten Sie die Einschalttaste länger als eine Sekunde
gedrückt. Wenn die Beleuchtung ausgeschaltet ist, bleiben die Funktionstasten weiterhin funktionsfähig.
9. Ein-/Ausschalten
Um das Gerät ein- oder auszuschalten, halten Sie die Einschalttaste 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt.
10. 3,5mm-Kopfhöreranschlüsse
Schließen Sie Ihre Kopfhörer oder Headsets mit einem 3,5mm TRS- oder TRRS-Stecker an. Bitte beachten Sie,
dass der Mikrofoneingang des Headsets nicht unterstützt wird. Die beiden Anschlüsse befinden sich auf der

6. USB-C-Daten
Unterstützt die Datenübertragung mit PC und mobilen Geräten.
Beim Anschluss an ein mobiles Gerät muss Ihr mobiles Gerät das Standard-UAC (USB Audio Class) Protokoll
unterstützen. Zusätzlich können bestimmte Smartphone-Modelle geladen werden, wenn der E2 Gen 2 an eine
externe Stromversorgung angeschlossen ist.

7. DC⎓5V Schnittstelle
Diese Schnittstelle dient nur zur Stromversorgung und zum Laden. Beim Einsatz eines kompatiblen mobilen
Geräts können Sie eine externe Stromquelle anschließen, um sowohl das mobile Gerät als auch den E2 Gen2
zu betreiben. Bitte verwenden Sie ein Netzteil mit einer Leistung von 5V⎓2A.
11/12. XLR-Eingangsgain-Regler①, Fader② und Stummschaltung③
Drehen Sie zuerst den Gain-Regler nach links und rechts, um den Eingangsgain zu steuern. Schieben Sie dann
den Fader, um die Lautstärke zu regeln. Die Pegelanzeige (29) zeigt den Signalpegel an, wobei Rot ein
Übersteuern anzeigt, was zu verzerrtem Audio führen kann.
Hinweis:
1. Ein niedriger Gain verringert die Menge des aufgenommenen Umgebungsgeräuschs.
2. Um die beste Audioqualität zu erzielen, halten Sie die Pegelanzeige im grünen und orangen Bereich.
13. 48V Phantomspeisungsschalter
Drücken Sie den entsprechenden 48V-Schalter für Kondensatormikrofone, da diese normalerweise Phantoms-
peisung benötigen, um ordnungsgemäß zu funktionieren. Es ist wichtig zu beachten, dass das Einschalten der
Phantomspeisung, wenn sie nicht benötigt wird, Ihr Mikrofon beschädigen kann. Wenn Sie sich nicht sicher

14. Equalizer
Der Equalizer passt den Frequenzgang der Mikrofon- und Instrumenteneingänge an und ermöglicht es Ihnen,
bestimmte Frequenzen zu verstärken oder zu reduzieren, um den Klang zu verbessern oder zu verändern.
15. Musikpegel
Um den Pegel des Audioeingangs von 3,5mm AUX-In- und Bluetooth-Quellen zu steuern, drehen Sie einfach
den Regler. Für eine genauere Steuerung empfehlen wir, jeweils nur eine Art von Eingang zu verwenden.
16. Bluetooth-Taste
Um die Bluetooth-Konnektivität zu aktivieren oder zu deaktivieren, halten Sie die Bluetooth-Taste gedrückt.
Wenn Bluetooth im Pairing-Modus ist, blinkt die Hintergrundbeleuchtung. Nach erfolgreicher Verbindung
bleibt die Hintergrundbeleuchtung dauerhaft an. Bluetooth wird nur für die Audiowiedergabe verwendet.
17. Soundpads
Der Maonocaster E2 Gen2 bietet Benutzern acht benutzerdefinierte Soundeffekt-Tasten. Benutzer können ihre
Lieblingslieder, Musik, Beats und andere Soundclips über das Mikrofon, externe Audio-Begleitung oder
Bluetooth-Eingang in das Gerät aufnehmen, um sie live zu übertragen und aufzunehmen. Jede Taste kann
Soundeffekte für ca. 20 Sekunden aufnehmen.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass das Produkt keine vorab geladenen benutzerdefinierten Soundeffekte enthält und
diese zuerst vom Benutzer aufgenommen werden müssen.
17.1 Löschen bestehender Soundeffekte:
Drücken und halten Sie eine der zuvor aufgenommenen benutzerdefinierten Tasten länger als 3 Sekunden.
Während dieser Zeit leuchtet die LED-Anzeige auf und blinkt schnell, was darauf hinweist, dass sie sich im
Löschmodus befindet. Das Licht erlischt, wenn das Löschen abgeschlossen ist.
17.2 Soundeffektaufnahme:
Unabhängig davon, ob spezielle Effekte in den benutzerdefinierten Tasten gespeichert sind oder nicht, müssen
die zuvor aufgenommenen speziellen Effekte zuerst gelöscht werden. Drücken Sie dazu kurz die entsprech-
ende benutzerdefinierte Taste zum Löschen, und das Licht blinkt langsam, was darauf hinweist, dass es sich
im Aufnahmezustand befindet. Das Licht erlischt, wenn die Aufnahme abgeschlossen ist. Während des
Aufnahmevorgangs können Sie die entsprechende benutzerdefinierte Taste kurz drücken, um die Aufnahme zu
stoppen.
25. Geräuschreduzierung
Reduzieren Sie Hintergrundgeräusche während der Aufnahme mithilfe dieser Funktion. Drücken Sie kurz, um
die niedrige Rauschunterdrückung zu aktivieren, drücken Sie erneut für hohe Rauschunterdrückung und ein
drittes Mal, um die Rauschunterdrückung auszuschalten. Die LED-Anzeige zeigt den aktuellen Status an.
26. Direktmonitoring-Schalter
Sie können die Monitoring-Funktion einfach ein- oder ausschalten. Wenn Sie das Echtzeit-Monitoring des
Mikrofon- und Instrumenteneingangs nicht hören möchten, drücken Sie einfach die Taste, um die Direktmoni-
toring-Funktion zu deaktivieren.

Steuert den Pegel der USB-C (6) und 3,5mm TRRS (5) Ausgänge.
29. Pegelanzeige
Die Pegelanzeige zeigt den Signalpegel an. Um die beste Audioqualität zu erzielen, halten Sie die Pegelanzeige
der XLR-Eingänge 1 und 2 im grünen und orangen Bereich. Wenn die Pegelanzeige rot wird, bedeutet dies
Übersteuern, was zu verzerrtem Audio führen kann.
Hinweis: Jede benutzerdefinierte Taste hat begrenzten Speicherplatz. Wenn der Speicher einer bestimmten
benutzerdefinierten Taste voll ist, stoppt das Gerät automatisch die Aufnahme. In diesem Fall erlischt das
Licht automatisch.
17.3 Abspielen benutzerdefinierter Sounds:
Drücken Sie kurz eine der zuvor aufgenommenen benutzerdefinierten Tasten, um die aufgenommenen
Soundclips abzuspielen. Die LED-Anzeige bleibt eingeschaltet, bis die Wiedergabe abgeschlossen ist. Während
der Wiedergabe können Sie kurz drücken, um die Wiedergabe zu stoppen.
18. Soundpad-Pegel
Regulieren Sie die Lautstärke der Soundpads.
19. Pitch-Regler
Regulieren Sie den Pitch-Effekt. Halten Sie den Regler auf die Mittelstellung gerichtet, um den Pitch-Effekt
auszuschalten.
20. Reverb-Regler① und Reverb-Voreinstellungen②
Der Regler steuert die Stärke des Reverb-Effekts. Drehen Sie ihn ganz nach links, um den Reverb auszus-
chalten. Alternativ können Sie die Reverb-Voreinstellungen verwenden.
21. Sidechain
Die Sidechain-Funktion senkt automatisch die Lautstärke der Hintergrundmusik, wenn Sie zu sprechen
beginnen, und hebt Ihre Stimme bei Streaming und Podcasts hervor.
22. Sing Along
Diese Funktion hat zwei Modi: Sing Along-Modus und Nur-Musik-Modus. Drücken Sie einmal kurz für Sing
Along und ein zweites Mal, um in den Nur-Musik-Modus zu wechseln.
Im Sing Along-Modus werden die Gesangsstimmen aus der über USB-C und 3,5mm Stream-Ausgang
abgespielten Musik entfernt. Dies ermöglicht es Ihnen, zur Musik ohne die Originalstimmen zu singen. Bitte
beachten Sie jedoch, dass die Gesangsstimmen im Sing Along-Modus in Ihren Kopfhörern nicht entfernt
werden, sodass Sie sie weiterhin hören.
Im Nur-Musik-Modus werden die Gesangsstimmen nicht nur aus dem USB-C und 3,5mm Stream-Ausgang,
sondern auch aus Ihren Kopfhörern entfernt. Dieser Modus ist für diejenigen gedacht, die die Musik ohne
Gesang hören möchten und somit ein "Nur-Musik"-Erlebnis schaffen.
Es ist wichtig zu beachten, dass diese Funktion möglicherweise nicht perfekt mit allen Musiktypen funktion-
iert. Es kann bestimmte Lieder oder Genres geben, bei denen die Gesangsentfernung nicht optimal ist.
23. Trocken-/Nassaufnahme
"Trockenaufnahme" bezieht sich auf die Aufnahme des Klangs ohne hinzugefügte Effekte wie Reverb oder
Pitch-Korrektur. Es wird nur der rohe, unbehandelte Klang aufgenommen. Bei der "Nassaufnahme" sind
hingegen die angewendeten Audioeffekte enthalten. Standardmäßig ist das Gerät auf Nassaufnahme
eingestellt.
24. Loopback
Wenn die Loopback-Funktion aktiviert ist, wird die USB-Wiedergabe an das USB-verbundene Gerät zurück-
gesendet: Wenn sie deaktiviert ist, kann die USB-Wiedergabe über die Kopfhörer gehört werden, wird jedoch
nicht aufgenommen. Das Ausschalten dieser Funktion kann unerwünschte Echos vermeiden.

5.4 Kein Ton aus dem Mikrofon

8. 背光开关

10. 3.5mm 耳机插孔

17.1 擦除现有音效
长按任意一个之前录制的自定义按键3秒以上，在此期间LED指示灯亮起并快速闪烁，表示已进入录制擦
除状态，擦除完成后指示灯熄灭。
17.2 音效录制
无论自定义按键中是否存储有特效，都必须先擦除之前录制的特效。清除时，短按对应的自定义键，灯
光慢闪，表示处于录音状态。
录音完成后，灯光熄灭。录音过程中，短按对应的自定义键，可停止录音。
注意：每个自定义键的存储空间有限，当特定自定义键的内存已满时，设备将自动停止录音。此时，灯
光会自动熄灭。
26. 直接监听开关
您可以通过打开或关闭来轻松控制监听功能。如果您不想听到麦克风和乐器输入的实时监听，只需按下
按钮即可禁用直接监听功能。

5. 故障排除
5.1 无法开机
① 请检查播客主机是否有电，请充电后再开机。

The Maonocaster E2 Gen2 is an upgraded version of our popular podcast and streaming audio console, the E2.
It now features dual XLR microphone inputs with dedicated controls for two-person recording, a direct
monitor switch, and two mute buttons to further improve user experience and streamline workflows. The E2
Gen2 supports Bluetooth, AUX-In, and music instruments for background music. It also includes eight
programmable soundpads to enhance content creativity. Whether you're an experienced podcaster, streamer,

8. Backlight Switch
To turn on/off the button backlights, hold the power button for more than 1 second.
When the light is off, function buttons remain functional.
9. Power On/Off
To turn on/off the device, hold the power button for 3 seconds.
10. 3.5mm Headphone Jacks
Connect your headphones or headsets with a 3.5mm TRS or TRRS plug. Please note that the microphone input
of the headset is not supported. The two jacks are located on the front side of the device.
1. XLR Input 1 (Microphone Input)
Input 1 accepts XLR or ¼" (6.35mm) plug microphone input.
Please turn on the corresponding 48V phantom power switch (13) for condenser microphones.
2. XLR Input 2 (Microphone and Instrument Input) and High-Z Switch
Input 2 accepts XLR microphone or ¼" (6.35mm) plug instrument input.
Please turn on the corresponding 48V phantom power switch (13) for condenser microphones or switch the
High-Z switch to ON for instrument level devices.
3. AUX-In
Connect external audio sources for easy playback of background music during streaming and recording
through an 3.5mm TRS to TRS audio cable.
4. 3.5mm Line Out
It can be used to connect to a powered speaker or other audio device. It requires a 3.5mm TRS to TRS cable.
5. 3.5mm TRRS Stream Out
This interface connects to a smartphone with a headphone jack for recording or streaming purposes. It
requires a 3.5mm TRRS to TRRS cable.
6. USB-C Data
Supports data transfer with PC and mobile devices.
When connecting with a mobile device, It requires your mobile device to support the standard UAC (USB Audio
Class) protocol. Additionally, certain smartphone models can be charged when E2 Gen 2 is connected to an
external power supply.
Note:
(1) Android phones need to support the USB host (OTG) feature and have it enabled.
(2) ) iPhones with a Lightning connector require a Lightning to USB Camera Adapter from Apple in order to
connect to the E2 Gen2.
7. DC⎓5V Interface
This interface only provides power and charging. When using a compatible mobile device, you can connect an
external power supply to power both the mobile device and the E2 Gen2. Please use a power adapter rated at
5V⎓2A.
11/12. XLR Input Gain Knob_①, Fader_②, and Mute_③
First, rotate the gain knob to the left and right to control the input gain.
Then, slide the fader to control the volume level.
The Level Meter Display (29) indicates the signal level, with red indicating peaking, which may result in
distorted audio.
Note:
1. Keeping the gain low will reduce the amount of environmental noise being recorded.
2. To achieve the best audio quality, please keep the level meter in the green and orange sections.
13. 48V Phantom Power Switches
Please push down the corresponding 48V switch for condenser microphones, as they typically require
phantom power to function properly. It's important to note that turning on phantom power when it's not
needed may cause damage to your microphone. If you're unsure about the type of microphone you have, it's
best to contact the manufacturer for confirmation.

14. Equalizer
Equalizer adjusts the frequency response of the microphone and instrument inputs, allowing you to boost or
cut specific frequencies to enhance or modify the sound.
15. Music Level
To control the level of audio input from 3.5mm AUX-In and Bluetooth sources, simply rotate the knob. For more
precise control, we recommend using only one type of input at a time.
16. Bluetooth Button
To enable or disable Bluetooth connectivity, long-press the Bluetooth button. When Bluetooth is in pairing
mode, the backlight will flash. Once successfully connected, the backlight remains solid. Bluetooth is used for
audio playback only.
17. Soundpads
The Maonocaster E2 Gen2 provides users with eight custom sound effect buttons. Users can record their
favorite songs, music, beats, and other sound clips into the device using the microphone, external audio
accompaniment, or Bluetooth input for live broadcasting and recording purposes. Each button can record
sound effects for approx. 20s.
Please note that the product does not have preloaded custom sound effects and needs to be recorded by the
user first.
17.1 Erasing existing sound effects:
Press and hold any of the previously recorded custom keys for more than 3 seconds. During this time, the LED
indicator will turn on and flash quickly, indicating that it has entered the recording erasing state. The light will
go out when the erasing is completed.
17.2 Sound effect recording:
Regardless of whether there are special effects stored in the custom keys or not, the previously recorded
special effects must be erased first. To do this, short press the corresponding custom key for erasing, and the
light will flash slowly, indicating that it is in the recording state.
The light will go out when the recording is completed. During the recording process, short press the
corresponding custom key to stop the recording.
26. Direct Monitoring Switch
You can easily control the monitoring feature by toggling it on or off. If you prefer not to hear the real-time
monitoring of the microphone and instrument input, simply press the button to disable the direct monitoring
feature.

Controls the level of USB-C (6) and 3.5mm TRRS (5) outputs.
29. Level Meter Display
The level meter display indicates the signal level. To achieve the best audio quality, keep the level meters of
XLR input 1 and 2 in the green and orange sections. If the level meter turns red, it means peaking, which may
result in distorted audio.
Note: Each custom key has limited storage space. When the memory of a specific custom key is full, the
device will automatically stop recording. At this point, the light will automatically go out.
17.3 Playing custom sound:
Short press any of the previously recorded custom keys to start playing the recorded sound clips. The LED
indicator will remain on until the playback is completed.
During playback, you can short press to stop the playback.

19. Pitch Knob
Control the pitch effect. Keep the knob pointed to the midpoint to turn off the pitch effect.
20. Reverb Knob_①the Reverb Presets_②
The knob controls the strength of the pitch effect. Turn it all the way to the left to turn off the reverb.
Alternatively you can use the reverb presets.
21. Sidechain
The SideChain features automatically lowers the volume of background music when you start to speak,
highlighting your voice in streaming and podcasts.
22. Sing Along
This feature has two modes: Sing Along mode and Music Only mode. Short press once for Sing Along and short
press for the second time to enter Music Only.
In Sing Along mode, the vocals will be removed from the music that is played through the USB-C and 3.5mm
stream output. This allows you to sing along with the music without the original vocals. However, please note
that in Sing Along mode, the vocals won't be removed in your headphones, so you'll still hear them.
In Music Only mode, the vocals will be removed not only from the USB-C and 3.5mm stream output but also
from your headphones. This mode is for those who want to listen to the music without any vocals, creating a
"music-only" experience.
It's important to keep in mind that this feature may not work perfectly with all types of music. There may be
certain songs or genres where the vocal removal may not be optimal.
23. Dry/Wet Recording
"Dry recording" refers to recording the sound without any added effects such as reverb or pitch correction.
Only the raw, untreated sound will be recorded. On the other hand, "wet recording" includes the applied audio
effects. By default, the device is set to wet recording.
24. Loopback
If the Loopback feature is enabled, the USB playback will be sent back to the USB connected device: if it is
disabled, the USB playback can be heard through the headphones, but will not be recorded. Turning off this
feature can avoid unwanted echoes.
25. Noise Reducer
Reduce background noise during recording by using this feature. Short press to activate low noise cancella-
tion, press again for high noise cancellation, and press a third time to turn off noise cancellation. The LED
indicator displays the current status.

5.5 No sound in live broadcast
① Please check whether the "recording" knob on the podcast console is turned on, and rotate the "recording
knob"clockwise to slowly increase the volume of the live broadcast.
② Please check whether the podcast console "Maonocaster E2 Gen2" has been set as the default playback
and recording device of the live broadcast software. If not, please set refer to " Live Streaming on the
Computer " part.

5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Cannot boot
① Please check if the podcast console has power, please charge it and then turn it on.
② You need to long press the " " for more than three seconds to turn it on.
5.2 No sound from accompaniment music
① Please check whether the external audio source is connected to the accompaniment interface of the
podcast console.
② Please check whether the accompaniment volume control knob on the right is turned on.
③ Please check the volume of the accompaniment device.
5.3 No sound from headphones
① Please check whether the headphone cable is inserted into the correct interface. It should be inserted to
the "headset" or "sound" interface.
② Please check whether is the "monitor fader" of the sound card upwards. You can gradually increase the
volume by sliding it up.
5.4 No sound from the microphone
① Please check whether the microphone is correctly connected to the microphone interface. If not,please try
again.
② Please check whether the microphone knob on the left is turned on. Turn the knob clockwise to increase
the microphone volume slowly.

computer will automatically detect the device and install the necessary driver.
3. Access the sound settings on your Windows or macOS computer. Set the "Maonocaster E2 Gen2" as the
default output and input device.
4. Check the settings or preferences of your streaming or recording software. Confirm that "Maonocaster E2
Gen2" is selected as the default audio input and output device.
Tips: Connecting your Gaming PC’s audio output to AUX port with a 3.5mm TRS cable then connecting your
Streaming PC with USB-C will allow a Dual PC streaming setup.

1. Connect your microphones, headphones, and any other required devices as shown in the above diagram.
2. Use the provided USB-C to USB-C data cable or a 3.5mm TRRS to TRRS cable to connect the Maonocaster to
your smartphone or tablet.
3. Connect a external power adapter rated at 5V⎓2A if you need continuous power.
Note:
1. If your phone has no 3.5mm headphone jack, it is essential to use the official USB-C to headphone adapter
provided by your phone's manufacturer.
2. To connect the Maonocaster via USB, your mobile device needs to support the standard UAC (USB Audio
Class) protocol. Android phones must support and enable the USB host feature. iPhones with a Lightning
connector need Apple's Lightning to USB Camera Adapter to connect to the Maonocaster.
3. Select smartphone models can be charged when Maonocaster is connected to an external power adapter.
4. You can record or stream to two smartphones if you utilize both USB-C output and 3.5mm TRRS output.
3. Bluetooth Connection
This Maonocaster supports Bluetooth music playback. Please follow these steps to connect and play
music:
1. Turn on the Maonocaster. The background light of the Bluetooth button will start flashing.
2. On your phone, go to the Bluetooth menu and search for devices. Look for the Bluetooth device named
"Maonocaster E2 Gen 2" and select it to establish a connection.
3. Once your phone is connected to the Maonocaster, the Bluetooth light will stop flashing.
4. Play your desired music on your phone.
5. Open your favorite app to begin recording or streaming.
Notes:
The Bluetooth feature is solely for music playback and cannot be used for other purposes.
4. Charging
1. Before using the device for the first time, please ensure it is fully charged.
2. To power and charge the device, use a USB-C cable to connect the DC⎓5V port to a power adapter rated at
5V⎓2A or a power bank.
3. It is important to stop charging once the battery is full to prevent overcharging.
4. If you are not using the device frequently, it is recommended to charge it at least every three months to
maintain battery health.
