After the write operation, remove D.E.S.S. key

from watercraft D.E.S.S. post to complete the

operation.

Disconnect MPI connections and reconnect vehi-

cle harness in protective cap.

NOTICE

Failure to secure the 6-pin connector

in its protective cap would allow corrosion and

damage to the terminals.

NOTE: There is a 120

resistor in protective cap

to minimize the possibility of communication er-

ror.
