-Release and open the lid, and fill the
container with water to the desired
level, observing the Min. and Max.
markings.
-Before closing the lid and placing the
container back on its base, ensure that
the appliance has not yet been switched
on.
-Insert the plug into a suitable wall
socket and press the On/Off switch.
-The boiling process begins. After
reaching the boiling point, the appliance
is automatically switched off by the
integral steam cut-off device.
-If you want to interrupt the boiling
process, set the On/Off switch to its Off
position.
-To pour hot water, remove the
container from its base.
-To prevent hot steam from being
emitted, ensure that the lid remains
closed while pouring out the water.
Descaling
Depending on the water quality in your
area, lime deposits may build up on the
heating element. It is advisable to
remove any such deposits at regular
intervals. A mixture of 0.5 liters of
water to two tablespoons of vinegar
essence is suitable.
-Pour the descaler in.
-Switch the appliance on and let the
solution reach boiling point.
-Leave it to take effect for a short
period.
-To clean the container after descaling,
rinse thoroughly with clean water.
● Do not pour descalers down enamel-
coated sinks.
General cleaning and care
● Before cleaning the appliance, ensure
it is disconnected from the power supply
and has cooled down completely.
● To avoid the risk of electric shock, do
not clean the kettle and the base with
water and do not immerse them in
water. Do not clean under running
water.
● For cleaning, a slightly damp, lint-free
cloth may be used.
● Do not use abrasives or harsh
cleaning solutions, and do not use hard
brushes for cleaning.
Remarks
1. The instructions for cordless
kettles shall state that the kettle is only
to be used with the stand provided.
2. This appliance is intended to be
used in household and similar
applications such as:
--staff kitchen areas in shops, offices
and other working environments;
--farm houses;
--by clients in hotels, motels and other
residential type environments.
