3. WORKING PARAMETERS
12. Exclude overheating of the gas cylinder.
13. Do not place the heater closer than 1 m to other sources of heat and
thermal radiation.
14. Do not store gas cylinders (empty or filled) in the room, where the
gasfired heater is operated.
15. Never use the appliance in the situation, when it may contact water.
16. When the appliance is switched on and it works, do not touch its
surface and control unit surface by wet hand and any body parts.
17. It is prohibited to install and use the appliance in bathrooms, showers,
or near swimming pools, where water jets and drops may directly get
onto the appliance surface, when it is switched on.
18. Never try to repair the heater yourself. This may inflict harm to your
health and affect the warranty service of the appliance.
19. Do not use the heater in open spaces outdoors for a long time.
20. Do not insert fingers and exclude penetration of foreign objects to
any vents, air intakes, or outlets, since this may result in burn, other
injuries, or damage of the heater.
21. To prevent possible fire, do not block the air intakes and outlets
anyhow. Do not hang or dry things on the heater! Use the heater only
on even dry surface.
22. The heater works with open flame and contains hot/sparking
components inside. Do not use the heater in places of handling or
storage of gasoline, paint, or any other flammable liquids.
23. Use the heater only as described in this Manual. Any other use not
recommended by the manufacturer may lead to fire or injuries of
people.
24. Never clean the heater, when it works. Do not submerge the heater
into water.
25. Technical characteristics of gas, which will be used for Timberk gas
heaters, must be absolutely the same, as rating labels & instruction
manual contain. It’s important.
26. Install and operate the appliance in strictly vertical position. It is
prohibited to operate the appliance in horizontal or inclined positions.
27. The appliance is not designed for use by people (including children)
with limited physical, sensory, or mental capabilities and having
insufficient experience/knowledge, if they are not supervised and
instructed on use of the device by a person responsible for their safety.
It is necessary to watch that children do not play with the heater.
Operation principle
Gas is fed via a custom-made nozzle to small ceramic burner cells, where
it is ignited. As a result, the burner ceramic parts incandesce up to high
temperatures with simultaneous air heating via immediate open flame and
heating of surrounding objects via thermal (infrared) radiation from hot
ceramic parts.
main features
1. Combination of thermal radiation and heat generation via open gas
combustion makes the heater a cost-effective source of thermal
power.
2. Quick self-repayment thanks to high efficiency and speed of reaching
set temperature.
3. Simplicity of installation, reliability in operation, and easiness of
maintenance.
4. Gas shutoff upon flame-out - an integrated flame detector.
5. The ODS protection circuit (oxygen detector) switches the heater off, if
oxygen content in air decreases to 18%.
6. Simple and efficient management capabilities temperature
characteristics and gas savings by choosing a heating power and
burner serial-start.
7. Manual ignition flame
