- The cartridge ﬁlter material has been impregnated with silver to preserve the ﬁlter

and inhibit the growth of bacteria. The antimicrobial properties of the treated

ﬁlter material do not protect users against bacteria, viruses, germs, or other

pathogens.

- It is generally recommended to boil tap water for certain groups of people (e.g.

people with weakened immune systems, and babies). This also applies to ﬁltered

water.

- Warnings for people with kidney disease or on dialysis: during the ﬁltering pro-

cess the potassium content may increase slightly. For those with kidney disease or

on a speciﬁc potassium diet, please consult a doctor.

- Filtered water is classiﬁed as category 2, in compliance with standard EN 1717.

- UNOX recommends not leaving the ﬁltering system idle for long periods of time.

If the ﬁltering system is not used for 2-3 days, wash the ﬁlter system by running

10 litres of water through it. After more than 4 weeks time of inactivity, the ﬁlter

should be washed with at least 100 litres of water or replaced. Never use the same

ﬁlter cartridge

for more than 12 months.

- Do not open or disassemble the ﬁltering system while it is in operation. Never open

the

ﬁlter cartridge.

- The ﬁlter head

in the ﬁlter system is designed to last 10 years (from the instal-

lation date), if it is installed and used correctly and the operating conditions

stated in the technical data are respected. In all cases, it must be replaced after

10 years at the latest.
