Pausing playback
1. Press and hold the [ ] button during
playback.
Playback pauses.
2. To resume playback, Press and hold the [ ]
button.
Playback resumes.
Skipping a track (searching)
1. Press the [X] or [V] button during playback.
Tracks are skipped, as many as the times the
button is pressed, and playback starts.
•Pressing the [V] button starts playback
from the beginning of the next track.
•Pressing the [X] button starts playback
from the beginning of the current track.
When this button i
s pressed again within
about 2 seconds, playback starts from the
beginning of the previous track.
•These functions perform in the current
folder only.
Fast forward and fast backward
1. Press and hold the [X] or [V] button during
playback.
The playback speed becomes 4-time faster
first and then 16-time faster 3 seconds later.
Releasing the button resumes the normal
speed playback.
Skipping the current folder
1. Turn the [UP/DOWN] knob during pla yback.
The tracks of the current folder are skipped
and playback starts from the first track of the
next or previous folder.
Selecting a folder/track from the list
1. Press the [MENU] button.
The Folder List is displayed.
2. When the desired folder is not displayed, turn
the [UP/DOWN] knob to scroll the list.
3.Press the [ENTER] button.
The Track List appears.
4. Turn the [UP/DOWN] knob to scroll the list,
and press the [ENTER] button.
The corresponding track is started playback.
Top function
Press and hold the [MENU] button to play the first
track of the current folder while in the MP3/WMA/
AAC mode.
Other various play functions
1. Press the [OPTION] button.
2. Turn the [UP/DOWN] knob to select the
function you want to play.
3.Press the [ENTER] button.
● In the CD mode.
Repeat:
•This operation plays back the current track
repeatedly.
Random:
•This operation plays back tracks recorded
in the disc in no particular order.
● In the MP3/WMA/AAC mode.
Track Repeat:
•This operation plays back the current track
repeatedly.
Folder Repeat:
•This
operation plays back tracks in the
current folder repeatedly.
1 Folder Random:
•This operation plays the tracks in the
current folder in a random order.
All Track Random:
•This operation plays back tracks recorded
in the disc in no particular order.
4. To cancel the play, perform the same
operation.
Setting the Playform of discs
recorded with DivX files
MP3/WMA/AAC files can be stored together with
DivX files in a disc or folder. You can select
whether such discs are regarded as MP3/WMA/
AAC discs or as DivX discs.
1. Press the [OPTION] button.
2. Turn the [UP/DOWN] knob to select
“Playform”.
3.Press the [ENTER] button to select “Audio” or
“Video” of the Playform item to specify the
setting.
[Audio]:
Discs are regarded as MP
3/WMA/AAC discs.
[Video]:
Discs are regarded as DivX discs.
Note:
•This setting is disabled when a Mixed Mode
CD, which contains b oth data track and audio
tracks, is set in the DVD player.
