• Do not immerse the kettle or the Power Base (6) in to the water or any other

liquids.

• Use the cord storage, which is located in the Power Base (6) to keep the power

cord.

• From time to time, depending on the nature of your water supply, you need to

clean the kettle inside.

Note:

• Never use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance.

• Never put the kettle or Power Base (6) into the dishwasher.

• After the cleaning make sure that the power cord, plug and electrical contacts

of the kettle and the Power Base (6) are dry.

Descaling

The scale which accumulates inside the kettle can lead to overheating of the

heating element. When the scale accumulates, the kettle can be switched off

prematurely before the water boils. The kettle is equipped with a closed heating

element. The scale can only accumulates on the inner walls of the kettle or on

the plate of the heating element.

• Open the Lid (2) of the kettle.

• Remove the ﬁlter.

• Clean the ﬁlter with soft dishwashing brush.

In order to reduce the amount of scale:

• Pour out all the water after each use of the kettle; do not leave the kettle full

of water for the night; it is recommended to use ﬁltered water.

• For descaling use any cleaning powder (anti-scale) suitable for electrical

kettles. The kettle should be descaled depending on the frequency of use and

the quality of the water. If you use the kettle in the region with hard water,

the frequency of the cleaning should be 1 time per month. After using the

anti-scale powder, pour the water again, boil it and pour it out again. Repeat

this procedure 2-3 times. After making sure that there are no chemical precip-

itations in the kettle, start using it.
