STEAM FUNCTION

Turn on the appliance and activate the steam function using the steam function

button. The steam function LED indicator lights up.

If the appliance plates are open and not closed for 2 minutes, the steam function is

switched o. Close the appliance plates and the steam function will be reactivated.

If the appliance plates are closed and are not opened for 2 minutes, the steam function

is switched o. Open the appliance plates and the steam function will be reactivated.

Notes:

• The rst time you use the appliance, you may notice a slight odour: this is quite

normal and it will disappear the next time you use it.

• Each time you use the appliance, you may see some steam. This can be caused by

sebum evaporation or traces of hair products (rinse-free treatments, hairspray, etc.).

• It is possible to use a heat protection spray for optimal protection of the hair.

• It is quite normal to hear a slight noise, similar to a crackle: this is the characteristic

noise of the ion generator.

AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF

If you leave the appliance on for over 72 minutes, it will automatically shut itself o.

If you would like to continue to use the appliance following this period, press the on/o

button to turn the appliance back on.
