FIELDS OF APPLICATION
The apparatus must only be used for domestic purposes. Use the pump exclusively in accordance
with the technical data, within the framework of the limits of application. The apparatus is suitable for:
• Watering gardens and lands;
• Domestic water supply;
• Increasing the pressure in the domestic water supply system
Keep to the local rules concerning the water supply. Contact a plumber.
The apparatus is only suitable for pumping the following liquids:
• Clean water,
• Rainwater,
• Swimming pool water when there is no person in the pool.
The domestic water works shall not be used for pumping:
• Salted water;
• Liquid foods;
• Sewage containing textile material or paper material;
• Aggressive, caustic agents and chemicals;
• Acid, inflammable, explosive or volatile liquids;
• Liquids warmer than 35
o
C;
• Sandy water or abrasive liquids.
INSTALLATION, START-UP OF THE APPARATUS
Installation
Install the apparatus in a flat, stable, horizontal and deluge-proof place. Make sure that the pump is
protected from rain and water jets. The suction duct must be formed from a pipe of 1” nominal diameter,
with installed foot valve at the end. The foot valve must be minimum 30 cm below the water level. The
suction duct must slope from the apparatus towards the well (slope of 6%). In case of sandy water, it
is necessary to install a filter in the suction pipe which will prevent sand from getting into the pump.
Install the water works as close to the water supply point as possible. If the water level of the well is
deeper than necessary, install the water works in a shaft established next to well. The shaft must be
designed in such a way that there is sufficient place for the person who perform the maintenance or
repair of the apparatus installed in it. The apparatus must be placed in the shaft in such a way that the
discharged water cannot reach it when the apparatus is bled. A ladder fixed to the wall of the shaft
must be installed. Ensure that the shaft is protected against subsoil water, can be ventilated and locked.
The water works and the water supply pipe system must be protected from frost therefore it is reason-
able to install the outdoor parts of the system below the frost limit. It is not permitted to install the water

plug is pulled out of the socket and the apparatus is disconnected from the mains. Use the apparatus
for its purpose exclusively.
Prior to starting up the pump, make sure of:
• The soundness of the supply cable and the connection plug of the pump.
• Do not start up the pump if it has failed. Any repair must only be made in an authorised service
repair shop.
• Use the handle for lifting and transporting the pump. Do not use the supply cable for pulling the plug
out of the plug socket.
Do not perform any change or modification arbitrarily!
TECHNICAL DATA
Attention: The hot water may cause injuries!
If the delivery side is closed and the pump is operating for a longer period (>10 minutes), then
the water found in it may get very warm. Disconnect the machine from the mains, and let the
pump and the water cool down. Do not switch on the machine unless all the faults are elimi-
nated.
