BEFORE USE

1. The kettle must be placed on a stable, ﬂat and dry surface.

2. Before ﬁrst use ﬁll the kettle up to the maximum level, boil the water, pour it out and rinse the

kettle. Repeat the procedure several times to remove manufacturing deposits, etc.

3. The kettle turns oﬀ automatically when the water has boiled. If necessary you may turn it oﬀ

using ON/OFF switch (4).

4. After the water has boiled or the kettle has been switched oﬀ, wait several seconds before

switching it on again.

5. If you switch the kettle on without water, the overheat protection will automatically shut the

appliance oﬀ. Leave the kettle to cool down for about 15 minutes before reﬁlling.
