6. Care and Maintenance
Disconnect the appliance from the
electrical mains before carrying out all
care and maintenance work.
· You can have your dealer carry out regular
safety inspections or sign a maintenance
contract. Please obtain advice.
6.1 Weekly
· Check the oil level. If the oil is milky (water in
the oil), contact customer service immediately.
· Clean the sieve in the water connection.
6.2 Monthly or as Required
· Clean the filter in the cleaning-agent suction
hose.
6.3 Annualy, after 500 Operating Hours
or as Required
· Change oil.
· Unscrew the sump nut and dispose of the old
oil through an authorized collection point
(environmental protection).
· When the oil has drained completely, screw
the sump nut back in tightly, and slowly fill the
oil tank up to the MAX mark (air bubbles
must escape).
· See technical data, Ch. 3 for oil quantity and
type.
6.4 High-Pressure Hose
· The high-pressure hose must not be damaged
(risk of bursting). A damaged high-pressure
hose must be replaced immediately.
6.5 Connector Cable
· The connector cable must not be damaged
(danger of electricution). A damaged connector
cable must be replaced immediagely by the
authorized customer service/qualified
electrician.
6.6 Frost Protection
· Frost will destroy the appliance if it has not
been completely emptied of water. The
appliance is best kept in a frost-free room
during the winter. Otherwise, we recommend
that you empty the appliance or flush it with
antifreeze.
· Emptying the appliance
Unscrew the water-inlet hose and the high-
pressure hose from the appliance.
Allow the appliance to run for max.
1 minute until the pump and the pipes are
empty.
· Antifreeze
If the appliance is to be idle for extended
periods, we recommend that you pump
antifreeze through the appliance. This also
provides a certain degree of protection against
corrosion.
