• Set the continuous steam supply knob (3) to
the “
” position (continuous steam sup-
ply is off).
• When the iron soleplate reaches the set tem-
perature and the pilot lamp (7) goes out, you
can start ironing.
• After you finish ironing set the temperature
control knob (10) to the “min” position.
• Pull the power plug out of the mains socket
and let the iron cool down completely.
STEAM IRONING
Steam ironing is possible only if the temperature
control knob (10) is set to the position “••”,
“•••” or max”.
• Place the iron on its base (8).
• Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
• Make sure that there is enough water in the
water tank (9).
• Turn the temperature control knob (10) to set
the required ironing temperature: “••”, “•••”
or “max”, the pilot lamp (7) will light up.
• When the iron soleplate (13) reaches the set
temperature and the pilot lamp (7) goes out,
you can start ironing.
• Set the necessary steam intensity with the
continuous steam supply knob (3).
• In the continuous steam supply mode, steam
will be released from the openings of the
soleplate (13) only if the iron is in horizontal
position. To stop the steam supply put the
iron vertically or set the continuous steam
supply knob (3) to the “
” position.
• After you finish ironing, set the temperature
control knob (10) to the min position and
the continuous steam supply knob (3) to the
” position.
• Pull the power plug out of the mains socket
and let the iron cool down completely.
ATTENTION!
If no continuous steam supply occurs during oper-
ation, check whether the temperature control knob
(10) and the steam supply knob (3) are set properly
and whether there is water in the water tank (9).
BURST OF STEAM
The burst of steam function is useful when iron-
ing folds and can only be used at high ironing
temperatures (in this mode the temperature
control knob (10) is in max” position).
When the burst of steam button (5) is pressed,
steam will go out of the iron soleplate intensively.
Note: To avoid water leakage from steam
openings, press the burst of steam button (5)
with a 4-5 sec. interval.
VERTICAL STEAM
The vertical steam function can be used only
at high ironing temperatures (in this mode the
temperature control knob (10) is in the max
position).
Wait till the iron soleplate heats up, hold the iron
vertically at the distance of 10-30 cm from the
clothes and press the burst of steam button (5)
with 4-5 sec. interval, steam will be released
from the soleplate openings intensively. To
avoid dripping do not perform vertical steam
when the iron soleplate is heating up (the pilot
lamp (7) is on).
Important information
• Vertical steam is not recommended for syn-
thetic fabrics.
• To avoid fabric burning, do not touch it with
iron soleplate while steaming.
• Never steam clothes on a person as the
steam temperature is very high, use a clothes
hanger or a stand.
• After you finish ironing, switch the unit off,
wait until it cools down completely, then open
the water inlet lid (2), turn over the iron and
drain the remaining water.
STEAM CHAMBER CLEANING
To prolong lifetime of the iron we recommend to
clean it regularly, especially in the regions with
hard tap water.
• Set the continuous steam supply knob (3) to
the “
” position.
• Fill the tank (9) with water till the “MAX” mark
(12).
Note: Do not fill the water tank with scent-
ed liquids, vinegar, starch solution, descaling
reagents, chemicals, etc.
• Place the iron on its base (8).
• Plug the unit.
• Set the temperature control knob (10) to the
maximum soleplate temperature max”, the
pilot lamp (7) will light up.
• When the iron soleplate (13) reaches the set
temperature, the pilot lamp (7) will go out.
