• Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
• Turn the temperature control knob (10) to set
the required ironing temperature: “•”, “••”,
“•••” or “MAX” (depending on the type of fab-
ric), the pilot lamp (6) will light up.
• When the soleplate temperature (14) reaches
the set value, the pilot lamp (6) will go out, you
can start ironing.
DRY IRONING
• Set the continuous steam supply knob (3) to
the position «
» (steam supply is off).
• Place the iron on its base (9).
• Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
• Turn the temperature control knob (10) to set
the required ironing temperature: “•”, “••”,
“•••” or “MAX” (depending on the type of fab-
ric), the pilot lamp (6) will light up.
• When the soleplate temperature (14) reaches
the set value, the pilot lamp (6) will go out, you
can start ironing.
• After you finish ironing set the temperature
control knob to the “OFF” position.
• Pull the power plug out of the mains socket
and let the iron cool down completely.
STEAM IRONING
The iron is provided with anti-drip valve, that
stops water supply, if the soleplate temperature
is too low, it prevents dripping from the soleplate
openings (14). During heating and cooling of the
iron soleplate you will hear characteristic clicks of
the anti-drip valve opening/closing that indicates
its normal operation.
• Place the iron on its base (9).
• Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
• Make sure that there is enough water in the
water tank (12).
• Turn the temperature control knob (10) to set
the required ironing temperature: in the steam
operation zone or «MAX» (•••), the pilot lamp
(6) will light up.
• When the soleplate temperature (14) reaches
the set value, the pilot lamp (6) will go out, you
can start ironing.
• Turn the continuous steam supply knob (3) to
set the steam generation rate, steam will be
releasing from the soleplate (14) openings.
• After you finish ironing set the temperature
control knob (10) to the «OFF» position, and
the continuous steam supply knob (3) to the
position «
» (steam supply is off).
• Pull the power plug out of the mains socket
and let the iron cool down completely.
Attention! If steam is not released constantly
during the operation, check whether the steam
supply knob (3) is set properly and whether there
is water in the water tank.
BURST OF STEAM
Burst of steam function is useful when ironing
of folds and can only be used at high ironing
temperatures (when the iron temperature control
knob (10) is set to «•••» or «MAX»).
When pressing the burst of steam button (4)
steam will be released from the soleplate.
Note:
• In order to avoid water leakage from steam
openings, press the burst of steam button (4)
with a 4-5 sec. interval.
VERTICAL STEAM
Vertical steam function can be used only at
high ironing temperatures (that is, when the
temperature control knob (10) is set to «•••» and
“MAX”).
Hold the iron vertically at the distance of 15-30
cm from the clothes, press the burst of steam
button (4) with a 4-5 seconds interval, steam will
be released from the soleplate (14).
WATER SPRAY
• You can dampen the fabric by pressing the
spray button (5) several times.
• Make sure that there is enough water in the
water tank (12).
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Vertical steam is not recommended for syn-
thetic fabrics.
• To avoid fabric burning, do not touch it with
iron soleplate while steaming.
• Never steam clothes on a person as the steam
temperature is very high, use clothes hanger
or a stand.
AUTO SWITCH OFF FUNCTION
If the iron remains still for about 30 (±5) seconds
in horizontal position or for about 8 minutes
(±1) in vertical position, it is switched off
automatically.
To switch the iron on again just start ironing.
