MAKING AND RECEIVING CALLS WITH YOUR SYNC SYSTEM
Making a call
To make a call, press
or VOICE and when prompted say:
“Call <name>” or
“Dial” and the desired number. When the system confirms the
number, say “Dial” again to initiate the call.
Note: To erase the last spoken digit, say “Delete” or press
.Toerase
all spoken digits, say “Clear” or press and hold .
To end the call, press and hold
or PHONE.
Answering an incoming call
During an incoming call, you will hear an audible ring. You can then:
Answer the call by pressing
or PHONE.
Reject the call by pressing and holding
or PHONE.
Ignore the call by doing nothing.
Using the Quick Dial feature (if equipped)
If your audio system has six memory presets, you can store phone book
contacts and numbers from your call history folder in 1–5 for quick
access. Note: This feature is NOT available if your audio system has 10
memory presets (0–9).
To store, simply press and hold a preset (1–5) when the desired
contact information (from your phone book or call history) is active
in the display.
To access stored numbers, press
or PHONE and then press
the memory preset containing desired contact information (1–5).
Initiate the call by pressing the preset again or pressing
or
PHONE.
Note: Quick dials are only available when the phone with which
they were saved is actively paired with SYNC.
