HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE UNIT:
1. Take the product out of its boxes making sure to remove all the packing materials.
2. Position the entire ironing board on a stable and flat surface, not far away from a socket,
supported with the needed voltage for the correct functioning of the product.
3. How to fix the ironing board: lift the ironing board surface (13) in a horizontal position and
place it on the appliance body containing the boiler, fix it by screwing the given handles (4).
4. Insert the ironing board ILME plug (5) in the ILME socket (22) on the steam generator.
5. How to assemble the ironing board sleeve arm/wand (drawing N° 3): insert the “S” tube in the
welded pin, placed on the support (6) and then insert the welded pin of the sleeve arm board
(7) in the “S” tube. Fix the wand (8), made of 2 pieces, on the support (6).
6. Position the steam generator on the surface inside the ironing board (10), keeping the power
cord (1) and the handle (26) on the exterior side.
7. Take off the elastic band (24) from the pin (25) placed above the security cap (16). Position
the iron on the fire proof surface (15) of the cover. This part differs in colour, since it’s much
darker of the rest of the cover and this part ONLY can resist the high iron temperatures
reached during use. ATTENTION: The lighter part of the ironing board cover, outside the fire
proof part (15), DOES NOT have the same features. Once you’ve finished your ironing, you
can replace the iron on the steam generator, on the dedicated surface (23), and when the iron
is cold, you can fix it with the elastic band (24).
USER INSTRUCTIONS:
8. Insert the electrical plug into an electrical outlet.
9. Unscrew the safety cap (16) and let the internal air out. Fill the boiler with max 2 litres of
water, using the funnel supplied, making sure you do not overfill the tank. Close the safety
cap (16).
10. Turn on the ironing board heating element switch (11), the boiler switch (17) and iron switch
(18).
11. Turn the iron plate’s temperature regulating knob (29) to the position “cotton” (indicated on
the iron knob with “°°°”). NB: it’s recommended that you always keep this knob position. For
delicate fabrics/garments, please use the given anti-shine Teflon shoe.
12. Wait that the boiler led (19) goes off (it takes about 10 minutes). While ironing, the boiler led
can come on.
13. The machine is ready for use.
14. The vacuum/blowing function is controlled by the switch (12): position I = vacuum function,
position O = no function, position II = blowing function. You can use the vacuum function
while ironing to get rid of the steam on the fabric or before in order to easily place the fabric
on the ironing board.
