Before consulting service personnel, it is recommended to check the following chart for possible solutions.
Storage:For long-term storage, it is recommended to charge and discharge the battery at least
once every six months, and then charge the battery to about 30% to 50% of the capacity to continue
storage; 6 Month +15 to +35ºC, 3 Months +15 to +45ºC.

Check software controls for recording sound: Start, Settings, System, Sound,
More sound settings, Recording, Microphone, Levels
• Check the headphone cableconnection
• Adjust the windows volume control
• Try pressing Fn+F4 to increase the contrast or Fn+F3 to decrease the
contrast. (On TFT displays, contrast control is not necessary and therefore
is not available.)
Check whether the display resolution is set to its default setting—1366×768 for
14’’ display. Check this in Start, Settings, System, Display, Display resolution.
Hard Disk Drive
The notebook’s hard drive
doesn’t spin
Make sure the notebook has power. If necessary, connect the AC adapter,
making sure it is plugged into the power source
• Back up the drive immediately.
• Check for alternate noise sources

Performance
Problems
• Press CTRL+ALT+DEL choose Task Manager to see if an application is not
responding.
• Reboot the notebook.
• Delete temporary and unneeded files.
• Certain background operations (such as VirusScan) can affect
performance while they’re running.
• Some file browsers may be unresponsive while they’re processing a
graphic image or waiting for broken network connections to time out.
• Install additional memory if Windows is spending a lot of time swapping
to disk.
• Check amount of available free disk space.
• Note that it is normal for the notebook to get warm. DOS games and other
programs that drive CPU usage toward 100% can contribute to a
temperature increase.
