•

If any hard piece of food stops the feeder screw or cutting

blade rotation, immediately switch the unit off and use the

screw reverse mode «REV» (reverse) to remove the obstruc-

tion before starting again.

•

Always wait for the electric motor to come to a complete stop

before changing the motor rotation mode using the switch (5).

Failure to do so may damage the unit.

AUTO SWITCH-OFF FUNCTION

•

The meat grinder is equipped with an auto switch-off function

in case of motor overheating.

•

In case of overheating of the motor, the automatic thermal

switch will trip, switching off the meat grinder.

•

In this case immediately remove the power plug from the

mains socket.

•

Let the meat grinder cool down for approximately 1 hour and

15 minutes before switching it on again (the unit can cool down

longer if the room temperature is high).

•

Plug the meat grinder into the mains, switch it on, if the meat

grinder would not switch on, this may mean that it is damaged

in some other way. In this case apply to any authorized service

center at the contact address list given in the warranty certificate

and on the website www.rondell.ru for repairing the meat grinder.

BEFORE USING THE MEAT GRINDER

After unit transportation or storage at low temperature

keep it for at least three hours at room temperature before

switching on.

•

Unpack the meat grinder and remove all package materi-

als, wipe the unit body with a damp cloth and then wipe it dry.

•

Wash all the removable parts (1, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15,

16, 17) with warm water and neutral detergent, rinse and dry

them thoroughly before assembling.

Assembling the meat grinder

–

Insert the auger (9) into the body of the grinding mecha-

nism (8) (fig. 1).

–

Install the screw (9) into the meat grinder head (8) body (pic. 3).

–

Install the crossed blade (14) (pic. 2 ).

Attention! Face the blade cutting side to the cutting plate. If the

blade is installed improperly, it will not grind the products.

–

Select one required plate (10, 11 or 13) and set it over the

blade, matching the ledges on the grate with the grooves on

the meat grinder head body (8) (pic. 3).

–

Install the clamp ring (12) and thread it rotating clockwise (pic. 4).

Notes:

•

The coarse cutting plate (11, 13) is for processing raw meat,

vegetables, dried fruit, cheese, fish, etc.

•

The fine cutting plate (10) is suited for processing both raw

and cooked meat, fish etc.

–

While holding the grinding mechanism (8), place it on the loca-

tion for the grinding mechanism on the body (6). To do so, tilt

the grinding mechanism 30° relative to the body (4) (fig. 5) and

install it on the location for the grinding mechanism (6). Rotate

it counterclockwise 30° until you hear a characteristic clicking

sound from the latch (fig. 6).

Attach the food tray (1) to the mouth of the grinding mech-

anism (8).

–

To disassemble, reverse the steps above.

Installing the sausage filling attachment

–

Install the auger (9) into the body of the grinding mechanism (8).

–

Install the cross-shaped blade (14) onto the auger (9).

–

Install the sausage stuffer attachment (15) (fig. 7).

–

Install the retaining ring (12) and turn it clockwise to secure.

Installing the kebbe attachment

Note: Only kebbe attachment and clamp are used without

crossed blade and plates.

–

Install the auger (9) into the body of the grinding mechanism (8).

–

Install the kebbe attachment (16) on the screw.

–

Install the kebbe attachment clamp (17).

–

Install the clamp ring (12) and thread it rotating clockwise (pic. 8).

BASIC PRINCIPLES OF USING THE MEAT GRINDER

•

The meat grinder is intended to mince boneless meat for

household use only.

•

Assemble the unit and place it on a flat dry surface.

•

Make sure that the ventilation openings on the unit body are

not blocked.

•

Insert the power plug into the mains socket.

•

Place an appropriate container under the grinding mechanism (8).

•

Make sure that the meat is fully defrosted, remove excess fat

and bones, and cut the meat into cubes or strips small enough

to fit freely into the opening of the food tray (1).

•

Switch the unit on by setting the switch (5) to the «ON» posi-

tion (switched on).

•

Slowly feed the meat pieces into the mouth of the grinder head

(8) using the pusher (7). When operating, use the pusher (7)

supplied with the unit.

Attention! Do not use any other objects to push meat; do not

push the meat with your hands.

•

Do not apply excessive effort while pushing the meat or other

products.

•

During the meat grinding process, a blockage may occur, to

remedy this situation, utilize the reverse rotation function of

the auger. To switch to reverse rotation mode, switch off the

meat grinder by moving the switch (5) to the «OFF» position

(switched off), then, after waiting at least 30 seconds, move

and hold the switch (5) in the «REV» (reverse) position.

•

Do not run the unit for more than 10 minutes continuously.

•

After 10 minutes of continuous use, switch the unit off and

allow it to cool down during 1 hour and 15 minutes before fur-

ther operation.
