DRY IRONING

•

Place the iron on its base (8).

•

Insert the power plug into the mains socket.

•

Set the steam supply knob (3) to the « » position (continu-

ous steam supply is off).

•

Set the desired ironing temperature by turning the knob (12):

«•», «••», «•••» or «MAX»; the indicator (9) will light up.

•

Once the soleplate (11) reaches the set temperature, the indi-

cator (9) will go out and you can start ironing.

•

After you finish ironing, set the temperature control knob (12)

to the «MIN» position.

•

Pull the power plug out of the mains socket and let the iron

cool down completely.

STEAM IRONING

The iron is provided with an anti-drip valve that stops water supply

if the soleplate temperature is too low; it prevents dripping from

the soleplate openings (11). During heating and cooling of the

iron soleplate, you will hear characteristic clicks of the anti-drip

valve opening/closing, which indicates its normal operation.

Steam ironing is possible only if the temperature control knob (12)

is set to the position «•••» or «MAX».

•

Place the iron on its base (8).

•

Insert the power plug into the mains socket.

•

Make sure that there is enough water in the water tank (10).

•

Set the control knob (12) to the required ironing temperature

in the steam operation zone, the pilot lamp (9) will light up.

•

When the soleplate (11) reaches the set temperature value, the

pilot lamp (9) will go out, you can start ironing.

•

Set the necessary steam intensity with the continuous steam

supply knob (3).

• In the continuous steam supply mode, steam will be released

from the openings of the soleplate (11) only if the iron is in

horizontal position. To stop the steam supply, put the iron

vertically or set the knob (3) to the position « » (steam

supply is off).

•

After you have finished using the iron set the temperature con-

trol knob (12) to the «MIN» position, and the continuous steam

supply knob (3) to the « » position (steam supply is off).

•

Pull the power cord plug out of the mains socket and let the

iron cool down completely

ATTENTION! If steam is not supplied constantly during the op-

eration, check whether the steam supply knob (3) is set properly

and whether there is water in the water tank (10).

WATER SPRAY

•

You can dampen the fabric by pressing the water spray button

(4) several times.

•

Make sure that there is enough water in the water tank (10).

BURST OF STEAM

The burst of steam function is useful for ironing folds and can

only be used at high ironing temperatures (when the temperature

control knob (12) is set to the «MAX» position). When the burst of

steam button (6) is pressed, steam will go out of the soleplate (11)

openings intensively.

Notes: to avoid water leakage from the steam openings, press

the burst of steam button (6) with 4-5 sec. intervals.

Anti-Drip SYSTEM

If you iron delicate fabrics at low temperatures, then the selected

temperature mode cannot provide a sufficient level of steam gen-

eration. In this situation, unevaporated drops of boiling water can

leave traces or stains on clothes. The Anti-Drip system blocks the

water supply to the evaporator, and prevents the appearance of

water droplets on the iron soleplate and clothes. Thanks to the

Anti-Drip system, even the most delicate fabrics can be ironed

perfectly without the risk of damaging or staining them.

VERTICAL STEAMING

Vertical steam function can be used only at high ironing tempera-

tures (when the temperature control knob (12) is set to the «MAX»

position).

Hold the iron vertically at the distance of 10-30 cm from the clothes

and press the burst of steam button (6) with 4–5 second intervals,

steam will be released from the soleplate (11) intensively.

Important information

Vertical steaming is not recommended for synthetic fabrics.

•

To avoid fabric melting, do not touch it with the iron’s sole-

plate while steaming.

•

Never steam clothes on a person as the steam temperature is

very high, use a clothes hanger or a coat rack.

•

After you finish ironing, switch the unit off, wait until it cools

down completely, then open the water inlet lid (2), turn over

the iron and pour out the remaining water.

AUTOMATIC SWITCH OFF

This model has 2 automatic switching off modes.

1. If the iron remains still for 30 seconds in horizontal position,

there will be a sound signal, the iron heating element will be

switched off and the indicator (5) will be flashing.

2. If the iron is set to the vertical position on its base (8) and re-

mains still for 8 minutes, there will be a sound signal, the iron

heating element will be switched off and the indicator in the

handle (5) will be flashing.

•

To resume ironing set the iron from horizontal position to verti-

cal or vice versa, wait until the iron soleplate (11) heats up and

continue ironing.
