WATER SELECTION
Use tap water to fill the tank. If tap water is hard,

proportion 1:1, if tap water is too hard, mix it with
distilled water in proportion 1:2 or use distilled wa-
ter only.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at low tem-
perature keep it for at least three hours at room
temperature before switching on.
Unpack the steam station and remove all pack-
aging elements that can prevent proper unit
operation.
Press the unlock button (5) to release the iron
lock (4) and remove the iron from the steam sta-
tion base (1).
Remove all labels, stickers or packaging from
the iron and the soleplate, if necessary.
Wipe the soleplate of the iron with a clean, soft
cloth.
Wipe the body of the iron and steam station base
(1) with a soft cloth.
Make sure that the voltage of the mains corre-
sponds to the operating voltage of the unit.
Place the steam station on a flat steady heat-
and water-resistant surface, so that the unit is
on the same level with your ironing board. When
setting the steam station on the ironing board,
make sure that the ironing board is secure and
steady.
There may be water residue inside the tank, this
is normal, as the steam station has undergone
factory quality control.
FILLING THE WATER TANK
Take into account that when you install the tank
back on the base, the water level will be above
the «MAX» mark. This doesn’t affect the steam
station performance.
Do not add anything to the water and do not use
water with any additives. When water turns into
steam, chemicals, perfumes, and other addi-
tives coat the inner part of the steam chamber,
reducing the lifespan of the iron.
Remove the water tank (2). To do that, push the
water tank lock (3) upwards and, using the front
handle of the water tank, extract the water tank
from the steam station base (1) (Fig. 1).
Fill the water tank up to the «MAX» maximum level
mark. Do not exceed the maximum level mark.
Reinstall the water tank (2) onto the base (1). To
do that, push the water tank lock (3) upwards,
and while holding it in the upward position, first
fully insert the bottom part of the water tank, fol-
lowed by the top part then release the lock (3)
(Fig. 1).
