indicated in the figures are marked with letters or numbers, depending on the case. A reference

2 KNOWING THE MACHINE

2.1 DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE AND FIELD OF USE

This machine is a gardening tool. Specifically, it is a portable blower with a battery-powered,

electric motor designed for non-professional use.

2.1.1 Intended use

A blower may be used to:

• Remove and collect leaves. Remove trash or grass clippings from roads, footpaths, parks,

parking lots, sheds, sports grounds, etc.

• Remove grass clippings.

• Remove or break up tangled grass.

• Clean parking lots.

• Clean agricultural and construction equipment.

• Clean amphitheaters and amusement parks.

• Remove light or soft snow.

• Dry sidewalks and outdoor areas.

• Remove trash from corners, junction areas, between paving stones, etc.

2.1.2 Misuse

WARNING

Any other use, differing from those mentioned above, can be hazardous and cause

damage to persons and/or property.

A blower should NOT be used to clean up:

• Large quantities of gravel or gravel dust.

• Debris from construction work.

• Gypsum powder.

• Cement and concrete dust.

• Dry garden soil.

• Do not use the blower to spread or mist fertilizer, chemicals and other toxic substances or

fuel unless the unit is designed for such an application, and then use it in a suitable area.

• If the blown substance is a commercially available substance, consult the safety data sheet

for the substance or contact the manufacturer of the material.
