or intense inhalation of airborne crystalline silica can cause severe or fatal

2.2 GENERAL SAFETY RULES
Work only in conditions offering sufficient visibility and light to see clearly.
Stop the engine before setting the machine down.
Be particularly cautious and alert when wearing hearing protection, as such equipment may
limit your ability to hear sounds indicating danger (shouts, signals, warnings, etc.).
Be extremely careful when working on slopes or uneven terrain.
Always keep the handles dry and clean.
Do not use the blower while standing on a ladder, stand or table.
Never try to blow away hot or burning substances or combustible liquids.
Do not walk backwards when using the unit.
Only use the blower at reasonable times, avoiding early mornings or late evenings when you
could disturb people. Comply with any local bylaws imposing noise restrictions during
certain hours of the day.
Check the direction and intensity of the wind. Never direct the nozzle or blown debris
towards people, pets, cars or homes.
Do not blow debris towards open doors or windows.
Use the unit with consideration for people passing by and nearby property.
Do not leave the machine running when unattended.
Pay attention to what you blow or move.
Practice blowing away grass clippings or paper cups without raising dust.
Moisten dusty areas before using the blower.
Never use a blower to move excessively dusty or powdery materials.
