To recharge battery:

• Connect the battery charger (C, Fig. 3) to a power outlet; the presence of voltage is indicated

by the red warning light (D) switching on.

• Insert the battery (A) into its housing in the battery charger (C), pushing all the way.

Recharging a completely flat battery requires approx. 220 minutes (5 Ah) with the CRG

battery charger. With the FAST battery charger, charging is reduced to 90 minutes (5 Ah).

The recharging stages are indicated by the warning light (D):

Battery charger connected Red light on

Battery inserted and charging in progress Green light flashing

Battery charging completed Green light on

Short circuit Red light flashing fast

Overheating Red light flashing slowly

Recharging complete:

• Remove the battery (A) from the battery charger (C) and refit it on the machine.

• Disconnect the battery charger (C) from the power outlet.

7 USING THE MACHINE

7.1 STARTING THE MACHINE (FIG. 4)

Before starting up the machine, insert the battery (A) into its housing.

To start up the machine:

• Firmly grip the machine with one hand.

• Operate the switch lever (C) and rotate the regulator (E) forwards or backwards to adjust the

power of the air flow output.

7.2 BOOST FUNCTION (E, FIG. 4)

This machine is fitted with the “Boost” function, which allows you to increase the amount of air

delivered. This function can be activated by pressing a wheel specially placed near the handle.

To use the Boost function, follow the instructions below:

• Make sure the machine is turned on and operating properly.

• Hold the handle firmly and securely, keeping a steady grip on the Boost wheel.

• Gently press the Boost wheel (E) with your thumb or index finger to activate the enhanced

airflow.

• Power can be adjusted by running your fingers over the wheel. Pressing it activates the

“boost” function, which provides additional fixed and stable power.

• Release the Boost wheel to return to normal blowing mode.
