• Do not use the machine when you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or

medication.

• Never allow children to use the machine.

• Never allow persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capacity, or lacking

experience or the required awareness, or persons unfamiliar with these instructions to use

the machine.

• Do not wear scarves, bracelets or any other items that could get caught up in the machine

or chain. Use cut-resistant, close-fitting clothes.

• Wear protective non-slip shoes, gloves, goggles, ear protection and a protective helmet.

• Do not start cutting until the work area is completely clean and free of clutter. Do not cut

near electric cables.

• Always cut from a firm-footed and safe position.

• Only use the machine in well-ventilated places, do not use in explosive or flammable

atmospheres or in closed environments.

• Do not touch the chain or do maintenance when the engine is running.

• It is prohibited to fit any device other than that supplied by the manufacturer.

• Keep all danger and safety labels in perfect condition. If they become damaged or worn,

replace them immediately (see chapter 2 SAFETY SYMBOLS AND WARNINGS (Fig. 1)).

• Do not use the machine for purposes other than those indicated in this manual (see

paragraph 9.7 Prohibited uses).

• Never leave the machine unattended with the engine running.

• Check the machine daily to ensure that all safety and other devices are perfectly functional.

• Always follow the care and maintenance instructions.

• Do not use a machine that has been damaged, badly repaired, improperly assembled or

modified. Do not attempt to remove or damage or bypass any of the safety devices. Only

use bars in the length indicated in the table.

• Do not attempt to carry out any servicing or repairs other than normal maintenance. Any

other operation must be entrusted to an Authorized Service Center.

• Never start a chainsaw without the chain guard.

• When disposing of an old machine at the end of its useful life, think of the environment.

Take your old unit to your dealer who will arrange for its proper placement.

• Only experienced persons who are familiar with the operation and safe use of this machine

should use it. If you lend this machine to someone, also give them the instruction manual

and ensure that they read it before using the machine.

• Always contact your dealer for any further details.

• Retain this Instruction Book and refer to it before using the machine.

• Please note that the owner or the user is responsible for any accidents or damage to third

parties or their property.
